1. Print the Paper Crown PDF Template on some interesting colored A4 paper
sheets to get started. For the little and big crown it’s best advised to use +/- 200
grams paper. Also, find the right tools to make the Paper Crown:
pair of scissors, fast drying glue and a stapler.

2. Cut out all parts and score + fold the little
tabs on the crown arches.

3. Glue the two marked base strips, to form the round crown

base. The printed marks should face the outside of the crown.
( will be covered later on with another strip at the final step )

4. Glue the crown arches to the arch supports. Take good

notice on how to glue them, according to the illustration.
Printed sides should face upwards.

5. Staple the glued arches with the supports onto the

hexagonal center base. The first 3 are easy to staple but the other 3 are a
bit more difficult and need to be stapled in a certain corner... Depending on
the type of stapler you use. Printed sides should face upwards.

for the last three, you need to manouvre the stapler

between the already mounted arches. A bit difficult
because you also need to hold everything in position...
but in the end it will work out ;-)

6. Now it’s time for a ‘ not so easy ’ step... Mounting the 6 arches to the
round crown base. Start with holding one of the arches and it‘s arch
support in position as shown in the illustration.
Make sure both ends hit the bottom of the crown. Hold the 3 parts in
position with your fingers high on the crown base so you have space for
the stapler. after the lower staple, add one above to.

Do the same with the arch on the opposite side of the mounted arch and
follow up with the others.

7. pre-bend the little and big top ornament strip on a big

marker so the paper is curled and ready to glue. Now glue the
ornaments and when finished, glue them to the ornament
base as shown.

8. Glue the ornament base on top of the center base. Use

enough glue, especially on the higher area’s caused by the
staples.

9. Add glue all over one of the cover up strips and wrap
around the base of the crown. This will hide the staples and
give the base a more solid and round base. Use the other strip
also because the strips are not long enough to cover the
whole crown base.
