Design your own Eco home!

Welcome, everyone, to Revitalize Planet!

The time has come, earth-dwellers. Earth as we know it has finally run out of non-
renewable resources and has been on the edge of extinction for so long! Scientists
have finally found a way to stop this in its tracks, but they need your help! If all of
Earths citizens can create their own eco friendly home, we will be able to stop the
effects and save the planet, turning it into Revitalize planet!

You will be required to work individually and design and build your own Eco home with
efficient and alternative energy! In order for you to succeed you will be required to
use the skills you have developed to create circuits and:

Part A:

• Fill out Council approval Forms A: listing the energy conserving items that will
be in your home, describing how they save energy.
• and Form B: Draw and label your home in birds eye view (plan) with the
locations of the renewable energy sources and energy saving items.
Part B:

• Create a Eco Home with minimum 3 x rooms. (Rooms should be as creative/


detailed as possible!)
• Each room must contain minimum of 1 x light and 1 x fan.

Materials:

• Maximum 12 wires.
• Maximum 6 x light bulbs/LED lights/Christmas/fairy light strings.
• Maximum 2 x motor.
• 1 x switch.
• Electrical tape.
• Your choice of recycled materials to construct your Eco Home! For example:
egg cartons, cardboard boxes, and cans.

Tools:

• Electric wire cutters (with help of teacher)


• Hot glue gun.
• Scissors.
