We can synchronize the repository by running CROSSCHECK ARCHIVELOG ALL.

By keeping the 2days archive logs, we can delete the archive logs from rman script with the condition at least one-
time backed up

Note : backing up the archive logs every hour or 2-3 hours also should be

With the present rman backup strategy , To restore and recover the database it requires one full database and remaining weekly incremental
backups and archive logs .

We can also follow the below mentioned strategy

1) Monthly Backup : This will be a Level 0 incremental backup that is similar to a full backup

2)daily incremental backup : This

will backup all block changes since the last level 0 or the last level 1.
By default incremental backups are differential, this backup would run every night except on week-ends when the
monthly or daily backup is executed.

cumulative level 1 backup for the weekly backup that will be taken every Week-end except
3)weekly cumulative backup :
the first week-end of the month.
The cumulative backup will backup all block changes since the last level 0.
