KITE MAKERS COMPETITION RULES SUMMARY

1. Only handmade, hand-crafted kites may compete. The only exception is the
Youth Kite Kit category.

2. Kites must be flown by the kite maker (or one of the kite makers).

3. Only one kite per contestant or joint group effort.

4. Follow the instructions from the Head Judge, Announcer and field staff.

5. Kites must fly to be eligible for awards: at a minimum 100 feet for 5 minutes.
