APOS and HAIN.

Some things to note that seem to have crept into the whole APOS/HAIN thing. Note this is referring to the
new DP IP addresses 172.21.101.xxx, or 172.22.101.xxx

1. If you are using only 1 OS, then trainer in SysconfhprU.cdb has to be True. If you have more than one
OS then they ALL have to set to False.
2. In the HAINconfig.ini file set the Client Address as follows: ClientAddress = 230.21.11.176 # if
present uses unicast, otherwise multicast is used. We recommend multicast.
3. Set the adapter address to the IP of the network card in the HAIN computer. As
follows.AdapterAddress = 172.21.101.188
4. Set the Receive Address in APOS (under HAIN network set up) to the same.

Note : This is the IP

address of the HAIN
computer, not of your
own machine which the
program inserts by
default.

Port addresses.
These are the same
as in the
HAINcofig.ini but
swapped

This is the same address as you

put into the HainConfig.ini file
uner the heading ClientAddress,
which is the Multicast Address
5. The Transceiver network setup, (note in this example the OS1 was the Master). My own machine was
set to 172.21.101.157. as seen from the above screen grab.
Note as well the program seemed to default to the Net B configuration, as seen by the 172.22.xxx.xxx. The
receive address in this instance uses the 230.237.11.xxx.
