    Make sure to mark it on your calendars to attend on October 14. Prizes
    Power over impulses! will be given out again and a Teacher's name will be drawn to receive
    Weekly Quizzes &Work 30 minutes of Love Labor from myself or Mrs. Brock Hope to see you
    there and thank you for your help! Family Enrichment Program will
    Friday ~ Math Check Up, Spelling Test, focus on helping children become successful in school by building
    Daily- Reading towards 100 minutes for positive and supportive relationships in the school, home and
    the week, DLR community
    Monday- Reading Skill Assessment (Oct.
    Costume Drive

    Need a costume but don’t want to spend
    the money?
    Future Plans! Mrs. Williams’ kindergarten classroom is organizing a school-wide
    Oct. 12- Picture Retakes costume exchange. Bring in any clean, gently worn costume (free
    Oct. 15-Big Event PBS of tears or stains) and receive 1 ticket per costume. We are
    Book Fair Begins hoping to have costumes of all sizes so all Mathews (and future)
    ½ day of school: 12:30 students can benefit. This ticket allows you to pick any other
    Oct. 19 & 21- PT conferences costume from the selection. The drop off station will be open in
    Oct. 22- NO SCHOOL the foyer before and after school. The trading post will open on
    Oct. 29- Fall Parties Saturday, Oct. 16 from 9-noon.

    PLEASE SIGN UP FOR A PARENT Reading Skill Assessment vs. Editing Assessment
    TEACHER CONFERENCE TIME IF YOU As a fourth grade, we feel that our students are getting a lot of
