ABM 11-A

Narrative
October 11, 2018- I woke up 6:00 am in the morning and I remember its our La Naval mass, I took

a shower, packed my things, and I was ready to leave and my dad will “hatid” me in the church.

I’m also in a hurry because my dad is waiting for me. He gets mad when wait for so long. Then I

get down my dad was sitting and he told me that its to early to leave. After 30 mins we leave. It

was a long drive and I know that my dad will get tired. At 7:30 we arrived at the church and I saw

my classmates already thank God there’s no traffic. My dad leave immediately because he have

work then he leave me. I saw Ramon and I come near him because he’s the only boy in the group

yet. Suddenly we saw Jerald and his friend, he invited us to eat at mcdonalds of course we joined

because were hungry to. The mcdonalds is far and we just walked. In about 10 mins we arrived,

we ordered food then we eat. We just hang around because its early and we saw fellow letranites

eating there too. After that we returned to the church and were finding our classmates. In the

church we waited for the mass to start. After awhile the mass started I listened to every word

that the priest said. I prayed for my family to be safe for my classmates to be safe. At around 9:30

the mass ended and Ms. Roanne our adviser says goodbye to all of us. At around 10:30 I headed

home and Juaquin joined me. We headed to UST because before we head home we ate. It was

so hot during that time. We walked from España to P.noval then to Dapitan it was a long walk

but I didn’t mind. Its really hot that time. We enter a jeep and the jeep will go to SM because it

will take 3 rides to go home. After SM another jeep to Pritil then Juaquin drop off there and I

dropped off too but Juaquin leaves me and says good bye. But I need another jeep to go to Ilaya.

Then I arrived and walk thru the Tondo church then I walk home. At around 3:00 I finally got

home. It was a long tiring day but it was all worth it.
Reflection
My reflection about my experience in the mass is was very exciting and fun because its just my

second attending the mass my first one is when I still study at UST I just stayed there for one year.

The day was hot but its fun because of the new classmates around me. I may not say much but I

will tell my experiences. It was very worth it because of the mass and I learned many things.

During the procession I did not attend because of personal matters. That’s why I had no picture

that day.
The reason why I pick the Lady of Mt. Carmel because it has an interesting story and it was one
of the patron saint in my former school Colegio de Sta. Rosa. I very liked the story of her. Saint
Simon Stock is a crusader. One day he had a vision of the Blessed Virgin Mary in which she gave
him a Brown Scapular. In Stock’s vision, Mary promised that those who died wearing the scapular
would be saved. That’s the reason why I pick the Lady of Mt. Carmel.
