Objective
To implement unique processes while meeting performance requirements; apply high standards and
continually improve my role as a supervisor or manager.

Skills & Abilities

CNC MILL OPERATOR
 Setting up three, four, and five axis mills. Toggling between different modes and executing cycles.
Understanding control panel features for optimized machining. Detecting alarms and identifying
parameter errors. Analyzing machine work environment and identifying risk variables. Assessing
limitations in machine and bugs in program for efficient utilization of mill machining.
CNC LATHE OPERATOR
 Implement safety protocols in a confined production machine. Create set ups with integrated cnc lathe
tools. Identify blueprint, part, and tooling relationships. Minimize cycle times and improves part quality
through in process inspection. Identify critical zones of machining in the program and machine and
create reference points in work design.
CNC INSPECTOR
 Generate outline of part and dimensions. Create a table with range of tolerances and determine means.
Identify critical dimensions and raise a red flag for better oversight. Calibrate and utilize measuring tools
to maintain precision outcomes. Interpret engineering drawings and highlight important features and
sectional views. Manage work flow drawings and maintain provide feedback to supervisors and other
shop personnel.
CNC PROGRAMMER
 Read and interpret G and M code programs for CNC mills and lathes. Understand program output and
synchronize background offsets with the program. Modify, edit, and optimize program to improve
machining quality. Detect bugs that are passive and risk programming commands. Apply CNC mill and
lathe canned cycles for clarity and efficiency.

Experience
CNC MILL SET UP/ OPERATOR | AVIBANK, BURBANK, CA | SEPT. 2015 – FEB 2016
 Set up CNC Fadal and Hass 3 and 4 axis mills. Acquire work order, set-up sheets, program, and raw
material. Evaluate program and blueprints to check for operations and tolerances. Load tools and very
proper cutting conditions. Run a set up part and make revisions. Submit first article and do in-process
inspection with calibrated measuring tools. Machine aluminum and steel helicopter components for
assemblies.
CNC LATHE SET UP/ OPERATOR | PERMASWAGE, GARDENA, CA | FEB. 2015 – NOV. 2014
 Set up dual spindle Okuma Lathe. Acquired job router and raw material. Analyzed blueprints and upload
program using Okuma controls. Review program and set up tooling on turret using roughers, finishers,
live tooling, modified tools, thread cutters, grooving tools, and insert drills and counter-sinks. Cut soft
jaws and develop custom holding for part for stock material. Set up dual spindle and double turrets to
run 2 operations simultaneously.
CNC LATHE OPERATOR | SARGENT AEROSPACE, TORRANCE, CA | JUNE 2014 – NOV. 2014
 Evaluate part and blueprint. Checked part for square-ness and concentricity. Locate features on blueprint
for operation. Set up tools and jaws. Cut jaws to .001 concentricity. Held tolerances to .0005. Up-load
program and check for errors. Ran first article, inspect parts using height gages, pins, micrometers, blade
mic’s, calipers, optical comparator. Checked for radiuses, chamfers, countersinks, and critical blueprint
features including, straightness, concentricity, true position, total-run out, run out, surface finish, and
perpendicularity.
CNC MILL OPERATOR | ALCOA FASTENING SYSTEM, TORRANCE, CA | APRIL 2013 – OCT. 2013
 Machines used: Mori Seiki Horizontal 4 Axis CNC Mill. Evaluate part, blueprint, tools, and tooling.
Construct inspection of parts at set intervals. I utilized height gauges, optical comparator, pins, calipers,
and micrometers. Make revisions to multiple work-offsets; I worked with aluminum and stainless steel.
In addition, I debugged and optimized the program.
