 IPSF
The International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation
(IPSF) was founded in 1949 by eight pharmacy student asso-
ciations in London, United Kingdom. The Federation now
represents approximately 350,000 pharmacy students and
recent graduates in 80 countries worldwide. IPSF is the
leading international advocacy organisation for pharmacy
and pharmaceutical science students. IPSF initiatives focus
on the areas of public health, pharmacy education, and pro-
fessional development. Initiatives include multiple public
health campaigns, research on issues in pharmacy educa-
tion and workforce development, the Student Exchange
Programme, organising international and regional events,
and publication of the IPSF newsletters in pharmacy educa-
tion and student exchange, among other responsibilities.
The federation is a non-profit, non-political and non-reli-
gious organization divided into five regions, which are
APRO, EMRO, PARO, EuRO, and AfRO.
 WORLD
CONGRESS
The Official Event of IPSF is World Congress. It is an annual event and was defined two years in ad-
vance. The World Congress is the main event of the Federation and usually lasts for 10 days. It has
been held yearly since its first congress happened in 1957 in Mosney, Ireland.

During the World Congress, the activities that must happen are:
• Official Opening Ceremony;
• General Assembly;
• Workshops;
• Symposia of scientific and educational nature;
• Meetings of committees

This year, the 64th IPSF World Congress will take place in

Mendoza, Argentina.

APPS The Official Event of IPSF APRO is Asia Pasific Pharmaceutical Symposium. It is an annual event and
was defined on year in advance. The APPS is the main event of the APRO and usually lasts for 7 days. It has
been held yearly since its first symposium in 2001 in Singapore. Usually it resembles the World Congress
activities.

This year, the 17th IPSF APRO APPS will take place in

Fuji, Japan.

1. The registration fees of World Congress
• First Phase: € 450
• Second Phase: € 500
• Third Phase: € 550
2. The registration fees of Asia Pasific Pharmaceutical Symposium
• First Phase: € 311 / ¥ 42,000
• Second Phase: € 326 / ¥ 44,000
• Third Phase: € 348 / ¥ 47,000
3. The registration fee covers access to the event program, accommodations, all meals
(except for dinner during ‘free night’), all necessary transport during the event and
pickup services (Airport <-> venue)
4. If you are interested in Leadership in Training and/or Post Tour, you will need to pay
another fees for each addition. Leadership in Training and Post Tour fees are not
included to the registration fees attached.
5. If you have not had your passport yet, you can write “null” to any forms that asking
it for.
6. CV format is not standardized. You can use the Europass format or any format you
would like it to.
7. The deadline of files submission is January 15, 2018 23:57 GMT +7.
8. The interview session will be held in English by voice call for ± 15 minutes.
9. It’s not allowed to get your place switched with someone else if you canceling your
participation.
10. ISMAFARSI will help on finance by giving a proposal template and helping on Events
Grant by IPSF.
