You have been asked to prepare a market analysis for a company of your choosing. This report
calls for you to provide detailed information about a company, its’ direct competitors, and the
firm’s operating environment.

Below are elements for you to consider in your report:

I. Company Information
- Background information. Looking for clear, concise and impactful details, not
filler.
- Product mix
- Distribution channels
- Markets served
- Financial snapshot – valuation, revenue, profit
- Means of differentiation

II. Industry Information & Trends


- Market size, characteristics, growth rate
- Relevant trends (PESTL analysis)

III. Competitor Information


- 2-3 key competitors
- Brief background information.
- Strengths and weaknesses

IV. SWOT Analysis


- Drawing on insights derived from sections 1-3 of your report, complete a well-
developed SWOT analysis that conveys your understanding of firm’s operating
environment
- To be depicted in a 2x2 matrix along with a description of meaningful
takeaways.
