However, as with v3.0, saves from versions v2.5 or before of Gaia are NOT
compatible with v3.1.
To play, download a FireRed ROM and apply the .UPS patch to the .GBA file using
the included NUPS program.
Visit the thread(s) linked above for a more in- depth patching guide, and for
other operating systems (Android, etc.).
v3.1 ends after the credits roll, and so includes all eight Gyms, and the
Elite Four and Champion battles.
There is a planned v4.0, which will include the postgame for Gaia.
Saves from v3.0 and v3.1 are planned to be forwards-compatible with v4.0.
� Fix Sliggoo's evolution method, which causes a freeze when leveling up in the
rain prior to reaching Level 50
� Fix Kirlia's evolution method, which causes it to evolve into Gallade when
leveling up with a enough Friendship, irrespective of gender
� Fix the Escape Rope and Town Map thinking Archan Tunnel is entered via
Windmist City when transported there with Herschel to translate the Tablet
� Fix the momentary unlocked state when using another Repel, which allows the
player to encounter wild Pok�mon, or take an extra step
� Change the NPC in Archan Town's dialog, which incorrectly claims there are
wild Nidoran to be found in Archan Hills
� Fix the incorrect test script leftover placed on a statue in the Atsail Gym
� Fix the Common Egg at the Edashore Nursery, which previously could not roll
Minun as a potential Pok�mon
� Fix the typo in Bug Catcher Hank's dialog ("here" -> "hear")
� Change the move set of Burglar Adrian's Malamar so it does not steal
held items of the player (e.g. Lucky Egg)
� Fix some tile errors in the Loamas Fields and Loamas Town barn maps
� Fix Prof. Redwood's house having its door on the wrong side
� Fix Stance Change changing the nature of its user when changing forms
� [STORY SPOILER] Fix Rayquaza not disappearing after its battle, which can
cause a freeze if the player talks to it
� Volt Switch, U-turn, Dragon Tail and Circle Throw's effects aren't correct:
- the user (in the case of Volt Switch and U-Turn) will be prompted to
switch Pok�mon even when the use of the attack fainted the enemy's
final Pok�mon
- switching occurs even against Pok�mon immune to the move
� Stockpile, Swallow and Spit Up do not incorporate the temporary, defensive buffs
� The swiping Pok� Ball battle transition animation will display incorrect
colours on certain maps
� The Hall of Fame displays certain, newer Pok�mon (Mantyke and up) as
different Pok�mon
� Certain locations, such as Apex Temple and Sabulo Tower, have inaccurate
eye catches
� [STORY SPOILER] Rival Coulter's Surfing Pok�mon disappears after the battle
with him in Victory Falls
� The credits use unchanged sprites of Red, Leaf and Green instead of Terra,
Gaia and Coulter, respectively
� Draining moves (e.g. Drain Punch) and the Life Orb can leave a Pok�mon alive
with 0HP
� Pok�mon with the Aftermath ability, when fainting from confusion damage, may
cause the game to freeze
� [STORY SPOILER] The "Caught" Pok�dex flags for Regirock, Regice and Registeel
will erroneously display as Caught after the Ignis Catacombs events
� Weather moves like Sunny Day do not have an updated effect, and so last
indefinitely
� The Knock Off power boost still applies to Pok�mon holding their Mega Stone,
despite the item not being lost
� Mummy infects on the first-turn of two-turn contact moves such as Fly or Dive
� Stance Change can be Trace'd, Role Play'd or Skill Swap'd (but will not have
any effect on Pok�mon which are not Aegislash)
� Consumable items will not be restored after every battle in the Battle Marsh
- they will, however, be restored when you leave the challenge (whether by
retiring, fainting or winning)
� Marsh Boss Shinoya's over world sprites do not match her Trainer sprite
� The micro grass in the Venonat Hidden Grotto sometimes appears glitched
� Pok�mon reappear in the battle scene after being captured if the player's
Pok�mon learns a new move
� Encore used when the target switches Pok�mon will not fail, forcing the
Pok�mon to Struggle
� The Bug Catching Contest's scoring system can give unrealistically low scores
� The "Met at" string may display incorrectly on some obtained Pok�mon
� Knock Off against a target with a Focus Sash can KO, even from full health
� Some Pok�mon's icons will appear purely black when being taught a move or
viewing the move details screen
� The bald Mightyena Thugs are not on their bike in their battle sprites
