Maulana Azad Medcial College (MAMC)

The college made its humble beginning in the hospital block of Irwin Hospital
in 1958. MAMC is named after a great patriot and educationist Maulana Abul
Kalam Azad. It is one of the three medical colleges under government of NCT
of Delhi. 180 students are admitted annually apart from various PG diploma
and degree courses.

LOK NAYAK HOSPITAL (LNH)

Earlier known as Irwin Hospital, the foundation stone of LN hospital was laid
on 10th January 1930. it is a multi-speciality hospital situated in MAMC
complex ,near Delhi Gate.

It is a super speciality hospital situated in MAMC complex, that came into

being in 1964 to provide training facilities and super specialities.

GNEC came into existence on 20th December 1977. It is an eye

hospital situated just adjoining the MAMC complex near Ajmeri
Gate.

Situated at 9, Metcalf road , STC is the annexe of LN hospital to

handle cases of trauma through a team of specialists.

 Situated at Geeta colony, CNBC is a state of the art super-
speciality paediatric hospital with a bed strength of 216 to
provide medical/surgical care for all paediatric patients under
