EVERY one knoweth in the present day that from time

immemorial Solomon possessed knowledge inspired by the wise
teachings of an angel, to which he appeared so submissive and
obedient, that in addition to the gift of wisdom, which he
demanded, he obtained with profusion all the other virtues;
which happened in order that knowledge worthy of eternal
preservation might not be buried with his body. Being, so to
speak, near his end, he left to his son Roboam a Testament
which should contain all (the Wisdom) he had possessed prior to
his death.

Later there came another, (who was greater in Wisdom than

even our own Solomon who we celebrated much) and by our
pious disciples his birth chamber was discovered by means of
the stars. And we gave them dispensation to make the journey of
one thousand and one nights, that our men were the first to
praise the Holy Child. Then upon arriving we immediately gave
to Him gifts of Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh. From the time
He was crucified (and the Holy Spirit of Inspiration descended
upon us) did we invoke the Knowledge and Conversation of the
Holy Guardian Angel (that is, the Angel of the Lord) for the
truth of the scriptures were revealed to us alone.

But, there were others who followed him and they also were not
admonished by Jesus for what they believed. Though, it is us of
whom it was spoken, “Some said, ‘Surely this is the prophet!’,
yet others said ‘This is the christ’, thus there was division among
them.” We the Magi knew him as Prophet, the others knew him
as Christ, and against this we speak not a Word. For He was and
is the Divine Representative of the Holy Guardian Angel on
Earth, and we do not know whether he is the Christ. For this
does not concern us, as we were originally arabian peoples, not
Jews.

We know by His teachings that each one of us who follow Him

manifest in harmony with the Will of God our own True Will,
that is, the discovery of our own nature and power which God
gives to us for our inheritance. We are Angels. Though the
world does not know of our existence, our wings fill the
universe and lift earth to heaven, and it is by our Great Work
that the world is not destroyed by the Serpent.

Our own angelic nature has manifested on earth as Flesh, that

when He is passed on, He may dwell within us; and He has done
this and continues to do so. He is the Light of the World, and the
window through which the Magi see and converse with God
Almighty, who is not three but One. He said to us, “Why callest
thou me good? For there is none good but One, that is, God.”
For four-hundred years we silently communicated with the
Heavens directly, and without doubt. There came to our Sages
one Christian Rozenkreutz, who was a seeker of truth and piety,
and we knew even he was sent by God to fulfill the Law. We
gave to him every key and secret of Truth and Wisdom which
we posessed, which he then communicated to his brethren,
founding the Order of the Rose-Cross, that it may be fulfilled
that which is written in the scriptures, “If any consolation in
Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if
any bowels and mercies, fulfill ye my joy, that ye be like-
minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one
mind.” Thus, we Angels rejoiced knowing of God’s mercies and
blessings upon earth now fulfilled, and even lost our senses with
happiness knowing that truth shall fill the world…
