Project Title: Environmental Topics Duration 10 Week

Task:

1. Select a topic from a list given in the table and construct further research. Your group
needs to produce a technical paper and slide presentation of related topic.
2. Max. 6 students in each group and must be mix among different gender and races.

Technical Paper Guidelines:

1. Report shall be type in ENGLISH.
2. The fonts used must be Times New Roman size 10 with spacing 1.0.
3. Use Times New Roman size 12 for Heading and each initial letter must be capitalized.
4. The left and right margins must be 2.5 cm, while top and bottom margin must be 3 cm
and formatted in A4 sized paper: NOT MORE THAN 10 PAGES including references
and appendixes
5. Your group should prepare a technical paper based on guidelines given below:

1. Abstract
Brief summary of your research topic including analysis and result findings and
explain its purpose. (Font size 9)

2. Introduction
Briefly introduce the topic that your group will cover for this task. Introductory
paragraph is clearly stated, has a sharp, distinct focus and enhances the impact
of the report.

3. Literature Review
Relevant supporting literature and reviewed critically. Ideas are integrated into
the student’s own insights and available facts. Excellent structure of paragraphs
and transitions enhances readability and comprehension. Essentially free of
grammatical errors and effectively citation. Typed; clean; neatly bound in a
report cover.

4. Methodology
Write in good sentences the ways of testing and evaluating products, steps taken,
design, etc., or new methods used for accomplishing the required topic.
(20 marks)

5. Analysis and Results

Report the findings of your study based upon the methodology you applied to
gather information. The results section should simply state the findings of the
research arranged in a logical sequence without bias or interpretation. A
section describing results is particularly necessary if your paper includes data
generated from your own research. All the analysis and finding results should
be state and show clearly.

6. Conclusion/Summary
Summarize the report. Write an effective conclusion and enhances the impact of
the report.
(5 marks)

7. References (Font size 9)

a. Compelling evidence from professionally legitimate sources is given to support
claims. Attribution is clear and fairly represented. List all references used in this
report. Information such as author’s name, title, publisher and year should be
stated. Example:

1. Presentation will be based on your project and your knowledge in this subject
2. Presentation will take 15 minutes each group and 5 minutes for Q&A.

Final Submission:

1. Technical paper submission: 27th April 2017 (Week 10th) before 3.30 pm. Marks will be
deducted for late submission
2. Please submit softcopy of your technical paper and Power Point thru Edmodo.
