Overview
The CT-e a Brazilian tax document issued by the cargo carriers to cover goods between the city of origin and cargo recipient.

Customizing
All the basic customizing for CT-e process are on the attachment of note 1690196 - Legal Change: CT-e Solution.

Standard Process Flow

ME21N- Purchase Order
In the CT-e scenario, you can only have one CT-e per PO.
As CT-e is consider a service you must enter the ‘Item category = D’.
Very important is to have the condition CONH in your condition tab. This will determine this is a CT-e scenario.
In the Invoice tab, ensure that the Service-Based Invoice Verification checkbox is not selected.
Also in the tax code chosen, make sure it has the CT-e conditions CIC* checked

ML81N - Goods Receipt with Service Entry Sheet

Service Entry Sheet creation does not require any specific procedures other than the standard process.

MIRO - Invoice Receipt

Tax calculation does not consider NF Type when executing an invoice, only condition CONH.
Nevertheless, you must use a CT-e specific NF type.
Inside the Nota Fiscal you will see the tax condition CIC* being used.
