Connect the power supply +ve at 0 (zero) input of analog input module & -ve at 0 (zero) of DC
power.
Do not provide input of DC 24 V at 2M input of analog input module as PLC will not read discrete
values provided by power supply.
Use the mathematical instruction “MOVE” for discrete values data flow.
Rename its input as “%IW64” & output as “%MW200”. You can use any integer value (not less
than 64)
Tag the input & output data as “int” under PLC tags=>show all tags.
Switch ON the variable DC power supply & change its voltage to 2V.
Note the corresponding values on MOVE instruction in LAD. Assign it as 1V.
Now change the voltage to 3V & note down the corresponding integer value obtained in MOVE
instruction.
Use these values to define useful voltage values through a comparator circuit.
Design comparator for at least 5 voltage values.
