THE APOSTLES’ CREED

In the Name of Christ
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth:
Sowing, GROWing, and Serving
And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord;
1741 - 2010
Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
born of the virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
He descended into hell;
The third day he rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost;
the holy catholic church;
the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting. Amen.

GLORIA PATRI

The Mission of the Month for October is Habitat for

Humanity. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit Christian
housing ministry which seeks to eliminate poverty housing
and homelessness from the world. To accomplish these
goals, they invite people of all backgrounds, races and
religions to build houses together in partnership with
families in need. Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1976
by Millard Fuller, along with his wife, Linda. Today, they
have built over 300,000 houses around the world, providing
more than 1.5 million people in 3,000 communities with safe,
decent, affordable shelter. For more information you can
visit www.habitat.org. Please keep this ministry in your
prayers. Our congregation has been involved in supporting
Habitat since it began in Salem County.

There are assisted listening devices for people to better

hear the worship service. Feel free to use one.

Join us for a prayer time every Sunday morning in the youth

lounge before church at 9:20am.

Substitute teachers for Sunday School are still needed.

Please let the office know if you are willing to help.
