Summary
As an experienced senior student at the University of Idaho, I pride myself on
continuously working to develop my skills as a future policymaker and passionate learner. I
strive for personal excellence in my academics and in the workplace with strong communication
skills, concern for the success of myself and my peers, and an optimistic attitude always being
my top priorities. Having worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for Biology 114 here at
the University of Idaho for two semesters, worked with incoming freshmen football players and
student athletics over the 2017 summer and fall semesters, and participated in three, soon to be
four, diverse practicum and student teaching opportunities, I have collected invaluable
experiences with classroom instruction on literature, writing, and biological evolution, one-on-
one and large classroom instruction, and lesson planning with research-supported learning
strategies. My pursuits in education and literature have fostered an undying passion for exploring
the human condition, reconstructionism in education, and support for the community to which I
have dedicated myself. Thus, I feel prepared to take on the rigor expected of me during graduate
school and in the workplace.
