ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

At the very onset we bow our head in humility to the Supreme Power. It is our duty to
acknowledge our debt to various people, who directly or indirectly contributed in the
development of this work and who influenced our thinking during this minor project.
We express our sincere gratitude to our institute, JMIT Radaur, for providing us an opportunity
to take up a minor project.

We express our deepest gratitude to Er. Deepti Malhotra, HOD, Department of Electronics &
Communication for their gracious consent to guide us. In spite of their busy schedule they
always gave us patient hearing, cleared our doubts and persuaded us on the right track.
Last but not the least, we would like to thank our parents for their moral support and our friends
with whom we shared our day-to-day experience and received lots of suggestions and valuable
insights.

We perceive this opportunity as a significant milestone in our career development. We will

strive to use gained skills and knowledge in the best possible way in future endeavours.

ABSTRACT

This minor project is basically based on DC motor speed control. In this project we will be
controlling the speed of dc motor wirelessly. In many industries there is a need of control of
speed of motor for various applications. In this project we are using RF transmitter and
receiver module to control the speed of dc motor wirelessly. The focus of this project is to
control the speed through basic circuits of electronics that is without the use of any
microcontroller.
After the signal is being transmitted through switch through transmitter, the receiver circuit
will decode the transmitted signal and generate a pulse to the 555timer. Before 555 timer we
have used ULN2003 IC for the amplification of the current. The different value of the
resistances used to correspond the data pin will limit the current value according to resistance
value and thus applying corresponding wave to the moto driving IC through the 555 timer to
control the speed of DC motor.
