INTRODUCTION

Heating, Ventilation Air Conditioning System is a system where technology is

used indoors or vehicular environment to provide comfort. The main purposes of a
Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system are to help maintain good
indoor air quality through adequate ventilation with filtration and provide thermal
comfort. (Environmental Protection Agency, USA)

According to EPA, HVAC systems are among the largest energy consumers in
schools. The choice and design of the HVAC system can also affect many other high
performance goals, including water consumption (water cooled air conditioning
equipment) and acoustics.

We are given a project to make an HVAC Designing in computing cooling load

for a University class room specifically Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela (PLV)
Maysan Campus or PLV Annex Campus (Engineering Building, Annex Building and
New Building). We chose to design an HVAC Design in CEB 102 Room in College of
Education Building in PLV Maysan Campus
