LSMW :

Go to T.Code LSMW – Legasy System Migration Workbench (It is tool which is used to upload
the legasy data into SAP)

After Creating, Execuite :

• Maintain Object Attributes

Click Display / Change (it will make you to change). Select the Radio Button Batch Input
Recording.

Now click
on “Goto” –
Recordings Overview.

Click on Create Recording.

Provide Necessary T. Code as per client requirement

While doing recording

in MM01 Press “F9” to select record.
In Material Master provide all the necessary data.

Next Click on “Default All” tab and click on SAVE button.

Copy all the required fields in to Excel Sheet. From Recordings in SAP.
 Next Copy all fields and go to Sheet 2
and Click on copy special and “Check” Transpose.

It comes as shows after transpose :

Now fill the columns as per client requirement. Then,

Then Copy the data and save in .Txt format(Do not copy Description)

Go Back and provide Recording & Save

• Maintain Source structures.

Save and go
back.

• Maintain
Source fields.
And provide the following details which are in the Excel
Come Back and SAVE.

4.Maintain Source Relations.

Click on Display/Change and click on Relationship
Here “Source Structure is assigned to Target Structure Krishna”. Press OK

• Maintain Field mapping and conversion rules.

Go to Change/ Display, Extras and then auto field mapping

Then Press “OK”

Then keep on pressing “Accept Proposal”. And SAVE.

• Maintain Fixed Values, Translations, User-Defined Routines
Save and come back

• Specify files

Then click on “Change/Display” and click on “ADD ENTRY”

Then Provide the input .TXT file which has saved before.
Provide the relevant name : EX – Krishna
Select Radio “button Tabular” in Delimiter Column.
Save and come back.

• Assign Files

Click on
“Change/Display”, And place cursor on KRISHNA1 Filed and click on “Assignment” Tab and
press OK.

Save and Come Back..!!

• Read Data

Then Click on Execute (F8).

Here in Source “KRISHNA1” totally 9 files has Read and Written. And Not written is “0”.
Save and come back..!!
• Display Read Data.
• Convert Data.

Then Check all fields are read or not.

Save and Exit..!!

• Display Converted Data
Provide From Line and To Line and press OK..

the Come Back..!!

• Create Batch Input Session

Click on Exe Button..

Then,

Press OK and come back..!!

• Run Batch Input Session

Now you are in SM35 Screen. Select the line that is being created to upload and
press Execute (F8) button as shown above.

Then Click On “EXE” button, The Select “Background” Radio button and click on “Process”
Enter Contentiously till it saves...!!! THE END
