‘‘A user centered innovator’’

Technical University Delft
faculty of
INDUSTRIAL DESIGN ENGINEERING

What have I got to offer?

As a designer I have been trained according to

the ‘Delft Design’ approach. The essence of this CREATE
approach is that great products are not created IDEAS
EMPATHISE
through a ‘Eureka moment’, but through a
pragmatic process involving the end-users.
DEFINE THE CREATE
PROBLEM PROTOTYPE
This approach helps me to create things that
people actually need and more importantly, want to
use. TEST

I consider myself as a T-shaped person.

My expertise lies in doing design, but I am
also knowledgeable and eager in areas like
entrepreneurship, technology, psychology, SEO and
marketing.

You seemed to work well together as a team with clear division of

tasks. Throughout the process you made good iterations from the
tests you conducted. The interaction with your prototype is limited
, but
the overall effect and experience you provide is very good.
Unfortunately your prototype broke down during the final exhibition
but
you managed to get it working again and give a good performance.’’

Sergio is a 60 year old

architect. He is single,
living alone with his dog.

He does not have any

allergies. However, he has
some basic knowledge of
air purifiers, because he used to own one about
15 years ago.

He quitted smoking and now he is often afraid

of air pollution, so consequently he wants to
make sure that the air quality in his home is
optimal.
