THE CREED

ALL: I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus
Christ, His only Son, Our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the
Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He
descended into hell, the third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into
heaven, seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall
come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic
Church, the Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body
and life everlasting. Amen.

 THE FIVE GLORIOUS MYSTERIES

3. The Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles: You come to bring grace. Help me
to love God.

4. The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary: Mary, you are taken to Heaven. Let me
be devoted to you.

5. The Crowning of the Virgin Mary: Mary, you are crowned Queen of Heaven. Let me
serve you.

After declaring each mystery, the LEADER leads a decade which starts with 1 Our
Father, followed by 10 Hail Marys and ends with 1 Glory Be. After each decade, say:

ALL: Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls
to heaven especially those who are in most need of Your mercy.

mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, your
eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of your
womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!

ALL: O God of all consolation, Author of salvation of souls, have pity on the soul of
Felicisima who may be suffering in purgatory. Grant her, together with all the souls in
purgatory, entire deliverance from her sufferings, and the happiness You promised to
Your servant Abraham and his posterity. Be moved, O Lord, by the consideration of the
fidelity with which she served You during life, and forget the faults which, through
human frailty, she has committed. Take Felicisima from this place of punishment and
darkness, and bring her to the place of peace and light. Hear, O Lord, our humble
prayers and grant him/her eternal rest.
