TSC’s digital integrated drillers control cabin meets the demands for marine drilling applications requiring industrial
electronic technologies. The integration of these technologies into the Drillers Cabin adds value to both contractors
and operators alike through increased process efficiencies, information access and streamlined operations. Some

Drillers Cabin
Manufactured from Marine grade Stainless Steel, anti fog windows and equipped with sound reduction technolo-
gies, the driller’s cabin promotes a comfortable operating environment.

Drillers Chair
The Driller’s chair is designed with ergonomics in mind. There are multiple chair adjustments, programmable
memory functions, and 8” touch screens for monitoring drilling and control functions. Each arm is equipped with
joysticks to operate hoisting and top drive systems.
Software
Windows XP Pro® is the operating system. Drilling and monitoring control software is TSC proprietary.

Drilling Controls and Data Query

Controls of all major drilling machinery can be directed from the Drillers chair. The man-machine interfaces and
industrial field bus utilize multiple device displays for monitoring system data, acquiring historical data and real time
controls. Diagnostic capabilities and third party equipment interconnects are available.

Cabin and
Disc Brake Upgrade

The TSC Land upgrade Drillers Cabin integrates digital, electrical,

pneumatic, hydraulic and video systems into an efficient package
that enables increased focus for rig operators. These custom cabins
may be configured to use many of the same control features as
found in our cabins built for offshore applications. Some of those
features include:

• Joystick Controls
• Environmental Controls
• Multiple Display Devices

We have incorporated control of our Disc brake upgrade into the

driller’s cabin to increase the efficiency and safety of the overall
drilling operation.
