1. CHAPTER 1 : GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS PRESENTATION –
1.1. DEFINITION
The vehicle twin agent fire truck type VIRMP 10.10 is made based on a chassis RENAULT TRUCKS.
"MIDLUM" 240-13 (4x4).
This vehicle can transport and implement:
1000 liters of premix
1000 kg of powder GRANITO B / C
1.2. PREMIX EQUIPMENT

The premix unit with a capacity of 1000 L (water + emulsifier FFFP Proflex 3%) is located at the rear of
the vehicle.
The pressurization of the premix tank is ensured by a nitrogen cylinder of 67,5 liters capacity, filled at a
pressure of 150 bar, and allows the supply of premix and the implementation of the foam/ powder
branchpipe connected to the rear hose reel with outlet of 200 L / min and the foam / powder monitor with
outlet
of 500 L / min located on the upper platform.
1.3. POWDER EQUIPMENT

The powder unit with a capacity of 1100 L for 1000 kg of powder (GRANITO Powder B / C) is located on
the front of the equipment, just behind the compartment for accessories.
The pressurization of the powder tank is ensured by two nitrogen bottles, 67,5 liters capacity, filled at a
pressure of 150 bar, and allows the powder supply and implementation of the foam/ powder branchpipe
connected to the rear hose reel with outlet of 125 kg / min and the foam / powder monitor with outlet
of 500 kg / min located on the upper platform.

The emergency manual opening is possible directly from the nitrogen cylinder valve.

2 high pressure hoses connecting the bottles valves with the high pressure filter
3 low pressure gauges (P08) indicating the pressure in the tank:

2.1.2. FILLING OF POWDER TANK

The powder tank is filled by gravity using the funnel supplied with the vehicle
Its capacity is 1100 liters and allows the filling of 1000 kg of powder GRANITO B / C
For this, we must chronologically:
Ensure that there is no residual pressure in the tank.
Open valve "pressure tank releasing" (92).
Open the manhole of the tank, and set up the funnel.
Refill the powder tank
Replace the manhole cover and tighten the nuts.
Close the valve " pressure tank releasing " (92).
Put the vehicle in “ready for use” status(voir § Erreur ! Source du renvoi introuvable. Page

NOTE :It is recommended to completely empty the tank prior to refilling
2.1.3. FILLING OF PREMIX TANK

The premix tank is filled by gravity.
Its capacity is 1000 liters of premix (970 liters and 30 liters of foam PROFLEX 3%).
For this, we must chronologically:
Ensure that there is no residual pressure in the tank.
Open valve "pressure tank releasing" (93).
Open the manhole of the tank
Refill the premix tank.
Replace the manhole cover and tighten the nuts.
Close the valve " pressure tank releasing " (93).
Put the vehicle in “ready for use” status (see § 2.1.1Page14)
CAUTION: Risk of frost

The following operations must be performed when the equipment is likely to be
exposed to frost action even for a short time.
The user is warned against the risks of serious injury due to frost equipment, in this
case essential to comply with the two instructions below:
1) place the vehicle under cover
2) purge circuits premix

2.2. NITROGEN UNIT

Powder equipment : 2 cylinders of 67,5 liters filled at a pressure of 150 bar
Equipement prémélange : 1 bouteille de 67,5 litres chargée à 150bar
Premix equipment : 1 cylinder of 67,5 liters filled at a pressure of 150 bar
2.2.1. FILLING OF NITROGEN CYLINDERS

The nitrogen cylinders must be removed from the vehicle to be filled :
THE NOMINAL FILLING PRESSURE OF THE NITROGEN CYLINDERS IS 150 BAR
Remove the actuation head
Fill the cylinders at a pressure of 150 bar, using the special filling head delivered with the
vehicle (see attached dwg 45097 in appendix A § 4.4 Page 96) by controlling the pressure.
VERY IMPORTANT
The staff in charge of the nitrogen cylinder filling must be informed of safety guidelines related to
the dangers inherent to the operation and use of equipment and facilities to ensure full security,
as well as other people involved in a close environment.
2.2.2. CONTROL OF NITROGEN CYLINDERS PRESSURE OF POWDER EQUIPMENT

From the control panel of the powder equipment :
1- CLOSE the HP shutt off valve (66).
2- Manually open the nitrogen cylinder to control, after removing the safety pin.
3- Check the pressure on the HP pressure gauge 0 to 250 bar (P07) on the control panel of
powder equipment.
4- A refilling must be done if the pressure in the cylinder is lower than 130 bar
5- Manually close the cylinder valve, and put in place the safety pin.
6- Reopen the shutt off valve (66)
2.2.3. CONTROL OF NITROGEN CYLINDERS PRESSURE OF PREMIX EQUIPMENT

Depuis le tableau de contrôle de l'équipement pré mélange :

2.3. IMPLEMENTATION OF EQUIPMENT POWDER

The powder equipment 1000 kg can be implemented either from the cab (see § 1.10.1 Page10),
or from the rear control panel of the equipment (see §1.10.2 Page10):
1- First ensure that the powder equipment is in “ready for use” status.( see § 2.1.1 Page14)
2- Unlock the trigger safety on the control panel
3- Set the switch (63) on -ON-
4- Cylinder valves automatically open and allow the phase "fluidization" of the powder (D02).
If the opening of cylinder valves is not, tear off their safety pins and proceed successively to the
manual opening of the two valves with their levers designed for this purpose
5- Check that the pressure increases in the tank using the pressure gauge "POWDER TANK
PRESSURE" (P08), from the cab or on the control panel of the equipment.
6- When the pressure reaches 6 bar, the lever back fluidization / Maintenance automatically switches
down to MAINTENANCE (E02) pressure in the tank. However, if the lever does not switch, shoot
aggressively to position MAINTENANCE (E02).
7- The tank pressure increases up to 10-12 bar (regulation at about 11 bar), when the pressure inside
the tank reaches 10 bar, the means of action can be used.
2.4. IMPLEMENTATION OF PREMIX EQUIPMENT

The premix equipment 1000 L can be implemented either from the cab (voir §1.10.1 Page 10), or
from the rear control panel of the equipment (see § 1.10.2 Page 10):
1- First ensure that the powder equipment is in “READY FOR USE” state.(see § 2.1.1 Page14)
2- Unlock the trigger safety on the control panel.
3- Set the switch (65) on -ON-
4- The cylinder valve opens automatically and allows pressurization of the premix tank
If the opening of cylinder valves is not, tear off the safety pin and proceed to open manually using the
lever for this purpose.
5- Check that the pressure increases in the tank using the pressure gauge "PREMIX TANK
PRESSURE" (P18), from the cab or on the control panel of the equipment.
6- The tank pressure increases up to 10-12 bar (regulation at about 11 bar), when the pressure inside
the tank reaches 10 bar, the means of action can be used.

2.5. CLOSING OF NITROGEN CYLINDERS OF POWDER EQUIPMENT

After using the equipment or to interrupt the supply of nitrogen, it is necessary to close the bottles.
Proceed as follows :
In percussion from the cab
Put the switch (63) on position "0"
In emergency mode
CLOSED the HP shutt off valve(66)
Put the lever to its original position
Put in place the safety pin
Open the HP shutt off valve.(66)
2.6. CLOSING OF NITROGEN CYLINDERS OF PREMIX EQUIPMENT

2.7. USING OF MEANS OF ACTION
2.7.1. MIXED MONITOR

Unlock the control arm.
The nominal pressure is reached, pointing the monitor to the target, then open the valve
corresponding to the desired extinguishant.
2.7.2. MIXED BRANCHPIPE

Develop the full length of the pipe before opening the valves.
The nominal pressure is reached in the tank, use the branchpipe.
2.8. BLOWING OF POWDER CIRCUITS

This operation must be done very carefully every time the equipment powder is used, it aims to
completely purge all powder in the discharge circuits, for this:
Close the valve (74) " powder main supply".
Connect a blowing hose between the valves (92) and (95)
Open the valve "powder tank releasing pressure" (92) et "powder circuit blowing" (95) of the 2 means
of action mixed monitor et mixed hose reel+mixed branchpipe until all the powder remaining in the
pipe is purged.
If there is no gas in the tank :
Blow powder pipes with dry compressed air supplied by connecting a hose from an outside source to
the fitting of the valve "powder circuit blowing"(95)
Wash thoroughly the vehicle to remove all traces of powder.
CAUTION: AFTER PIPES BLOWING :PUT THE VEHICLE IN "READY FOR USE" STATE
2.9. FLUSHING OF PREMIX CIRCUIT

This operation must be done very carefully every time the premix equipment was used, it is intended to
flush the discharge circuit and prevent deposits in pipes.
Close the valve (83) "foam main supply".
Connect to a source of fresh and clear water and to the valve (94) "foam circuit flushing"
Alternatively, use the mixed branchpipe on hose reel and the mixed monitor until there is no trace of
foam in the delivered water from the means of action.

The daily maintenance and inspection of the chassis are usually defined by specific instructions
detailed in the owner's manual supplied with the chassis RENAULT TRUCKS MIDLUM 240.13 (4x4).
Note, however, it is necessary, among other operations, to ensure :
full tank of diesel,
oil engine level,
engine water cooling leve,
the state of battery charge,
the proper operation of lighting equipment and traffic signs ,
the good condition of their tires and tire pressure,
purge air cylinders of the brake,
condition of air filter,
good engine operation with a daily startup,
3.1.2. PREMIX AND POWDER EQUIPMENT

Check that each fire equipment is in "READY FOR USE" state

3.3. HALF-YEARLY VISIT (OR EVERY ALL 40 HOURS OF OPERATION)

In addition to the monthly visit, make the following checks :

The powder equipment is in « READY FOR USE » state, proceed as follows :
Do the fluidizing of powder in the tank using a nitrogen cylinder as follows :
Check the closing of the supply valves of the means of action(71-72 -74).
Remove the safety pin on one of the nitrogen cylinder valve of the relevant equipment.
Manually open this cylinder valve.
Check the pressure in the powder tank, as soon as this one reaches 3 to 4bar, close the
cylinder valve and put in place the safety pin.
Wait for 10 minutes.
Release pressure from the tank by slightly opening the valve "POWDER TANK PRESSURE
RELEASING" (92).
Close and fill the used nitrogen cylinder (150 bar).
Clean the powder low pressure filter (B) located on the pressure tap at the powder tank.
Put the vehicle in "READY FOR USE"state (see § 2.1.1Page 14).
3.3.3. PREMIX EQUIPMENT

Check the quality of premix into the tank
If the quality of the premix is doubtful or bad, make complete emptying of the tank either by
gravity or by taking advantage of training of staff implementing the two means of action
(mixed monitor and mixed branchpipe connected to the hose reel)

Check the good state of different flexible hoses et delivery flexible hoses.
Replace them if necessary.
Put the powder equipment in « READY FOR USE » state (see § 2.1.1Page 14).
VERY IMPORTANT :
EVERY TWO YEARS, SYSTEMATICALLY REPLACE ALL THE NITROGEN HIGH

PRESSURE FLEXIBLE HOSES.
3.4.3. EQUIPEMENT PREMELANGE

Ensure that there is no pressure in the tank, open the pressure releasing valve (92)
Open the premix tank manhole
Check the state of the manhole gasket and replace it if necessary.
Close the manhole and tighten correctly the nuts.

Replace them if necessary.
Put the premix equipment in « READY FOR USE » state (see § 2.1.1Page 14).

1. CHAPITRE 1 : CARACTERISTIQUES GENERALES PRESENTATION –
1.1. DEFINITION
Le véhicule double agent extincteur Mousse / Poudre type VIRMP 10.10 est réalisé sur la base d'un châssis
porteur RENAULT TRUCKS. "MIDLUM" 240-13 (4x4).
Ce véhicule permet le transport et la mise en œuvre de :
− 1000 litres de prémélange
− 1000 kg de poudre GRANITO B/C
1.2. EQUIPEMENT PREMELANGE

L'unité prémélange de capacité 1000 L (eau+ émulseur FFFP Proflex 3%) est située à l’ arrière du véhicule.
La pressurisation du réservoir est assurée par 1 bouteille azote, capacité 67 litres, chargée à la pression de
150 bar, et permet l’alimentation en prémélange et la mise en œuvre de la lance mousse/poudre portable sur
dévidoir de débit 200 L/min et du canon mousse/poudre de débit 500 L /min situé sur la plateforme
supérieure et raccordé sur le dévidoir arrière .
1.3. EQUIPEMENT POUDRE

L'unité Poudre de capacité 1100 L pour 1000 kg (Poudre GRANITO B/C) est située sur à l’ avant de
l’équipement, juste derrière le compartiment pour accessoires.
La pressurisation du réservoir est assurée par 2 bouteilles azote, capacité 67 litres, chargées à la pression
de 150 bar, et permet l’alimentation en poudre et la mise en œuvre de la lance mousse/poudre portable sur
dévidoir de débit 125 kg/min et du canon mousse/poudre de débit 500 kg/min situé sur la plateforme
supérieure.

De forme cylindrique avec 1100 litres de capacité permettant de contenir 1000 kilos de poudre

Deux (2) bouteilles d’azote, volume 67,5 litres en acier traité, chargé à 150 barg.
Ces bouteilles sont équipées d’un robinet avec commande d’ouverture pneumatique (63) situé sur le
tableau en cabine et sur le tableau arrière.
L’air basse pression nécessaire à l’ouverture des robinets est fourni par le circuit pneumatique de
servitude du châssis-cabine.
L’ouverture manuelle secours est possible directement sur le robinet des bouteilles azote.
− Un circuit Azote composé de :
2 flexibles haute pression reliant les robinets de bouteille au collecteur haute pression
3 manomètres basse pression (P08) indiquant la pression dans le réservoir:

2.1.2. REMPLISSAGE RESERVOIR POUDRE

Le réservoir poudre est rempli par gravité à l’aide de l’entonnoir fourni avec le véhicule
Sa capacité est de 1100 litres et permet le remplissage de 1000 kg de poudre GRANITO B/C
Pour cela, il faut chronologiquement:
− S'assurer qu'il n'y a pas de pression résiduelle dans le réservoir.
− Ouvrir la vanne de "DECOMPRESSION RESERVOIR" (92).
− Ouvrir de trou d’homme du réservoir, et mettre en place l’entonnoir de remplissage.
− Remplir le réservoir
− Remettre le couvercle de trou d’homme et serrer les écrous.
− Fermer la vanne de "DECOMPRESSION RESERVOIR" (92).
− Remettre le véhicule en état d'intervention (voir § 2.1.1 Page 109)
NOTA :Il est recommandé de vider complètement le réservoir avant un nouveau remplissage
2.1.3. REMPLISSAGE RESERVOIR PREMELANGE

Le réservoir pré mélange est rempli par gravité.
Sa capacité est de 1000 litres de pré mélange (970 litres d’eau et 30 litres d’émulseur PROFLEX 3%).
Pour cela, il faut chronologiquement:
− S'assurer qu'il n'y a pas de pression résiduelle dans le réservoir.
− Ouvrir la vanne de "DECOMPRESSION RESERVOIR" (93).
− Ouvrir le trou d’homme du réservoir.
− Remplir le réservoir.
− Remettre le couvercle du trou d’homme et serrer les écrous.
− Fermer la vanne de "DECOMPRESSION RESERVOIR" (93).
− Remettre le véhicule en état d'intervention (voir § 2.1.1 Page 109)
ATTENTION: Risque de gel

Les opérations suivantes doivent être effectuées lorsque l’équipement risque d’être
exposé à l’action du gel même pour une période très courte.
L’utilisateur est mis en garde contre les risques d'accident grave consécutif au gel de
l’équipement , dans ce cas respecter impérativement les 2 consignes ci-dessous:
1) placer le véhicule sous abri
2) purger les circuits prémélange

2.2. CENTRALE AZOTE

− Equipement poudre : 2 bouteilles de 67,5 litres chargées à 150 bar
− Equipement prémélange : 1 bouteille de 67,5 litres chargée à 150bar
2.2.1. REMPLISSAGE DES BOUTEILLES N2 (AZOTE)

Les bouteilles N2 doivent être déposées du véhicule pour être remplies :
LA CHARGE NORMALE DES BOUTEILLES EST DE 150 BAR.
− Démonter la tête de déclenchement
− Charger les bouteilles à 150 bar, à l'aide de la tête de rechargement bouteilles livrées avec les
véhicules (voir Plan A 45097 joint en annexe A § 4.4 Page 191) en contrôlant la pression.
TRÈS IMPORTANT
Le personnel chargé du remplissage des bouteilles azote doit être informé des Directives de Sécurité
liées aux dangers inhérents à cette opération, et utiliser des équipements et installations assurant
pleinement sa sécurité, ainsi que celle des autres personnes évoluant dans un environnement
proche.
2.2.2. CONTROLE DE LA CHARGE DES BOUTEILLES AZOTE DE L’EQUIPEMENT POUDRE

Depuis le tableau de contrôle de l'équipement poudre :
1- Fermer la vanne d'isolement HP (66).
2- Ouvrir manuellement la bouteille N2 à contrôler, après avoir ôté la goupille de sécurité.
3- Contrôler la pression sur le manomètre HP 0 - 250 bar (P07) situé sur le tableau de l'équipement
poudre.
4- Une recharge s'impose lorsque la pression résiduelle dans la bouteille est inférieure à 130 bar.
5- Refermer manuellement le robinet de la bouteille, et remettre la goupille de sécurité.
6- Réouvrir la vanne d'isolement (66)
2.2.3. CONTROLE DE LA CHARGE DE LA BOUTEILLE AZOTE DE L’EQUIPEMENT

PREMELANGE
Depuis le tableau de contrôle de l'équipement pré mélange :
1- Fermer la vanne d'isolement HP (67).
2- Ouvrir manuellement la bouteille N2 à contrôler, après avoir ôté la goupille de sécurité.
3- Contrôler la pression sur le manomètre HP 0 - 250 bar (P17) situé sur le tableau de l'équipement
prémélange.
4- Une recharge s'impose lorsque la pression résiduelle dans la bouteille est inférieure à 130 bar.
5- Refermer manuellement le robinet de la bouteille, et remettre la goupille de sécurité.
6- Réouvrir la vanne d'isolement (67)

2.3. MISE EN OEUVRE DE L'EQUIPEMENT POUDRE

L'équipement poudre 1000 kg peut être mis en œuvre soit depuis la cabine(voir §1.10.1 Page 105),
soit depuis le tableau de l’équipement(voir §1.10.2 Page 105):
1- Tout d'abord s'assurer que l'équipement poudre est en "ETAT D'INTERVENTION".(voir §2.1.1 Page
109)
2- Déverrouiller la sécurité sur le déclenchement du tableau.
3- Positionner l'interrupteur général (63) sur -ON-
4- Les robinets des bouteilles s'ouvrent automatiquement et permettent la phase "DETASSAGE" de la
poudre (D02).
Si l'ouverture des robinets de bouteilles ne se fait pas, arracher leurs goupilles de sécurité et procéder
successivement à l’ouverture manuelle des 2 robinets à l’aide des leviers prévus à cet effet.
5- Vérifier que la pression augmente dans le réservoir à l'aide du manomètre "PRESSION RESERVOIR
POUDRE" (P08), depuis la cabine ou sur le tableau de l'équipement.
6- Lorsque la pression atteint 6 bar, le levier de secours Détassage/Entretien bascule automatiquement
vers le bas permettant L'ENTRETIEN (E02) de pression dans le réservoir. Si toutefois le levier ne
bascule pas, tirer dessus énergiquement vers la position ENTRETIEN (E02).
7- La pression du réservoir augmente alors jusqu'à 10-12 bar (Régulation à 11 bar environ), lorsque la
pression à l'intérieur du réservoir atteint 10 bar, les moyens d'action peuvent être utilisés.
2.4. MISE EN OEUVRE DE L’ÉQUIPEMENT PRÉMÉLANGE

L'équipement prémélange 1000 L peut être mis en œuvre soit depuis la cabine(voir §1.10.1 Page
105), soit depuis le tableau de l’équipement(voir §1.10.3 Page 106):
1- Tout d'abord s'assurer que l'équipement prémélange est en "ETAT D'INTERVENTION".
(voir §2.1.1 Page 109)
2- Déverrouiller la sécurité sur le déclenchement du tableau.
3- Positionner l'interrupteur général (65) sur -ON-
4- Le robinet de la bouteille s'ouvre automatiquement et permet la mise en pression du réservoir
pré mélange.
Si l'ouverture du robinet de bouteille ne se fait pas, arracher la goupille de sécurité et procéder à
l’ouverture manuelle à l'aide du levier prévu à cet effet.
5- Vérifier que la pression augmente dans le réservoir à l'aide du manomètre "PRESSION RESERVOIR
PREMELANGE" (P18), depuis la cabine ou sur le tableau de l'équipement.
6- La pression du réservoir augmente alors jusqu'à 10-12 bar (Régulation à 11 bar environ), lorsque la
pression à l'intérieur du réservoir atteint 10 bar, les moyens d'action peuvent être utilisés.

2.5. FERMETURE DES BOUTEILLES AZOTE DE L’EQUIPEMENT POUDRE

Après utilisation de l'équipement ou pour interrompre l'alimentation en azote, il est nécessaire de refermer
les bouteilles.
En percussion depuis la cabine
− Repositionner l’interrupteur (63) en position "0"
En secours
− Fermer la vanne d’isolement HP (66)
− Replacer le levier dans sa position d’origine
− Replacer la goupille de sécurité
− Ouvrir la vanne d’isolement HP.(66)
2.6. FERMETURE DE LA BOUTEILLE AZOTE DE L’EQUIPEMENT MOUSSE

Après utilisation de l'équipement ou pour interrompre l'alimentation en azote, il est nécessaire de refermer
la bouteille.
En percussion depuis la cabine
− Repositionner l’interrupteur (65) en position "0"
En secours
− Fermer la vanne d’isolement HP (67)
− Replacer le levier dans sa position d’origine
− Replacer la goupille de sécurité
− Ouvrir la vanne d’isolement HP.(67)

2.7. UTILISATION DES MOYENS D'ACTION
2.7.1. CANON MIXTE

− Déverrouiller le bras de commande.
− La pression nominale étant atteinte, pointer le canon sur l'objectif, puis ouvrir la vanne
correspondante au produit extincteur désiré.
2.7.2. GACHETTE MIXTE

− Extraire la longueur du tuyau avant d'ouvrir les vannes.
− La pression nominale étant atteinte dans le réservoir, utiliser la gâchette.
2.8. SOUFFLAGE DES CIRCUITS POUDRE

Cette opération doit être effectuée très soigneusement à chaque fois que l'équipement poudre a été utilisé,
elle a pour but de chasser totalement toute la poudre des circuits de refoulement, pour cela :
− Fermer la vanne (74) "ALIMENTATION PRINCIPALE POUDRE".
− Brancher un tuyau souple de soufflage entre les vannes (92) et (95).
− Ouvrir la vanne "DECOMPRESSION RESERVOIR POUDRE" (92) et "SOUFFLAGE CIRCUIT
POUDRE" (95) des 2 moyens d'action canon mixte et dévidoir mixte+lance mixte jusqu'à ce que toute la
poudre résiduelle de la tuyauterie soit évacuée.
− S'il ne reste plus de gaz dans le réservoir :
− Souffler les tuyauteries poudre avec de l'air comprimé sec en branchant un flexible alimenté à partir
d'une source extérieure sur le raccord de la vanne "SOUFFLAGE CIRCUIT POUDRE" (95).
− Laver abondamment le véhicule pour enlever toutes traces de poudre.
ATTENTION : APRES SOUFFLAGE :REMETTRE LE VEHICULE EN ETAT D'INTERVENTION
2.9. RINÇAGE DES CIRCUITS PREMELANGE

Cette opération doit être effectué très soigneusement à chaque fois que l'équipement prémélange a été
utilisé, elle a pour but de rincer les circuits de refoulement et d'éviter les dépôts dans les tuyauteries.
− Fermer la vanne (83) "Alimentation principale prémélange".
− Raccorder à une source d'eau douce et claire la vanne (94) "Rinçage circuit prémélange".
− Utiliser alternativement la lance mixte sur dévidoir et le canon mixte jusqu'à ce que l’eau refoulée à ces
moyens d’action ne présentent plus aucune trace de mousse.
ATTENTION : APRES RINÇAGE, REMETTRE LE VEHICULE EN ETAT D'INTERVENTION

3.1. VISITE JOURNALIERE
3.1.1. CHASSIS
Graissage : voir document V-215Z-002-A-753: Grease and Lubricant list and maintenance schedule
L'entretien et la visite journalière du châssis sont généralement définis par des consignes particulières
détaillées dans le carnet d'entretien livré avec le châssis RENAULT TRUCKS MIDLUM 240.13 (4x4).
Rappelons cependant qu'il est nécessaire, entre autres opérations, de s'assurer :
− du plein du réservoir gas-oil,
− du niveau huile moteur,
− du niveau eau de refroidissement du moteur,
− de l'état de charge des batteries,
− du bon fonctionnement des équipements d'éclairage et de signalisation routière,
− du bon état des pneumatiques et de leur pression de gonflage,
− de la purge des bouteilles d'air du circuit de freinage,
− de l'état du filtre à air,
− du fonctionnement du moteur par une mise en route quotidienne,
3.1.2. EQUIPEMENTS PREMELANGE ET POUDRE

Vérifier que chacun des équipements de lutte contre l'incendie soit bien en "ETAT D'INTERVENTION".
− EQUIPEMENT POUDRE 1000 kg (Voir § 2.1.1 Page 109).
− EQUIPEMENT PREMELANGE 1000 L (Voir § 2.1.1 Page 109).
3.2. VISITE MENSUELLE (OU TOUTES LES 20 HEURES DE FONCTIONNEMENT)

En supplément à la visite journalière
3.2.1. CHASSIS
Se reporter au carnet d'entretien du châssis RENAULT TRUCKS MIDLUM 240.13 (4x4) livré avec le lot
de bord.
3.2.2. EQUIPEMENTS PREMELANGE ET POUDRE

− Contrôler bouteille par bouteille la pression des bouteilles N2 (voir § 2.2Page 111).
− La pression ne doit pas être inférieure à 130 bar (sinon procéder à la dépose et au
rechargement de la bouteille).
− Remettre l'équipement concerné en état d'intervention, (voir § 2.1.1 Page 109.).

3.3. VISITE SEMESTRIELLE (OU TOUTES LES 40 HEURES DE FONCTIONNEMENT)

En complément à la visite mensuelle, procéder aux contrôles suivants :
3.3.1. CHASSIS

3.3.2. EQUIPEMENT POUDRE

L’équipement poudre étant en état d’intervention, procéder comme suit :
− Procéder au détassage de la poudre du réservoir avec une bouteille, comme suit :
− Vérifier la fermeture des vannes d'alimentation des moyens d’action (71-72 -74).
− Enlever la goupille de sécurité d'un des robinets de bouteilles azote de l’équipement.
− Ouvrir manuellement ce robinet de bouteille.
− Lire la pression du réservoir poudre, lorsque celle-ci atteint 3/4 bar, refermer le robinet de
bouteille et remettre la goupille de sécurité
− Attendre 10 minutes.
− Décompresser le réservoir en ouvrant légèrement la vanne "DECOMPRESSION RESERVOIR
POUDRE" (92).
− Refermer et recharger la bouteille d’azote utilisée (150 bar).
− Nettoyer le filtre poudre basse pression (B) situé sur la prise de pression au niveau du réservoir
poudre.
− Remettre le véhicule en "Etat d'intervention" (voir § 2.1.1 Page 109).

− Vérifier la qualité du pré mélange présent dans le réservoir
− Si la qualité de ce prémélange est douteuse ou mauvaise, procéder à la vidange complète du
réservoir, soit par gravité, soit en en profitant pour faire un entraînement de personnel mettant
en oeuvre les deux moyens d’action canon mixte et lance mixte raccordée sur le dévidoir
mousse/poudre.

3.4. VISITE ANNUELLE

En complément de la visite semestrielle, procéder aux contrôles suivants :
3.4.1. CHASSIS
de bord.
3.4.2. EQUIPEMENT POUDRE

− S'assurer qu'il n'y ait aucune pression résiduelle à l'intérieur du réservoir poudre : ouvrir la
vanne de décompression(93)
− Ouvrir le trou d'homme du réservoir poudre et vérifier l'état de la poudre
(humidité : risque de blocs de poudre).
− Changer la poudre si nécessaire.
− Contrôler l'état du joint trou d'homme et remplacer si nécessaire.
− Refermer le trou d'homme en serrant correctement les écrous.
− Contrôler l'état des différents flexibles et tuyaux souples de refoulement.
− Procéder à leur remplacement si nécessaire.
Remettre l'équipement poudre en "Etat d'intervention" (voir § 2.1.1 Page 109).
TRES IMPORTANT :
TOUS LES DEUX ANS, PROCEDER SYSTEMATIQUEMENT

AU REMPLACEMENT DE TOUS LES FLEXIBLES AZOTE "HAUTE PRESSION".

− S'assurer qu'il n'y ait aucune pression résiduelle à l'intérieur du réservoir prémélange : ouvrir la
vanne de décompression(92)
− Ouvrir le trou d'homme du réservoir prémélange
− Contrôler l'état du joint trou d'homme et remplacer si nécessaire.
− Refermer le trou d'homme en serrant correctement les écrous.
