Here’s another way of keeping track of things (some deliberate redundancy with above info):

Pediatrics Check list

Inpatient
o Night float evaluations, either drop off with Joyce Burns or hold on to until the end of the rotation – some residents may give to us personally

ED
o Write 2 H&Ps and email the patient number to Dr. Gupta (agupta@chmca.org). Do this during your first or second day in the ED. He will try
to go over them with you while you are on one of your ED shifts. You will only get an email reply if there are concerns about your
documentation.
o ED evaluations and turn in ALL evaluations to Dr. Gupta’s box/folder at the end of your shift. If you are at Beeghly during your final ED shift,
you can email a photo to Dr. Gupta and myself.

Outpatient
o Observed H&P - email Dr. Nofziger and Joyce Burns (jburns2@chmca.org) by the MONDAY of your LAST CLINICAL WEEK (the same
time your PBLI and topic question is due) that this was completed.

3rd Week of rotation

o Mid-clerkship evaluation
o CSEP

5th Week of rotation

o Email Dr. Nofziger your PBLI question that Monday, you will need to have your question approved. You will also need to send an email that
your Observed H&P has been completed. You can bring the actual document the final week. Finally please send your test question (based on
the topic you signed up for on orientation) to me by this date.
