Jhansi), one of the best engineering institute of Uttar Pradesh, is a
flourishing cauldron of excellence in technical education, high quality
research, community service, and expert consultancy services. Since its
development, BIET Jhansi’s vision is to become one of the leading
teaching institutions in the country. As a vision where we are committed
to meeting our social responsibilities, while setting high standards for all
our stake holders. BIET Jhansi has completed its’ 30 year of existence in
2018. During previous 30 year BIET has consistently focused on
designing practice oriented learning and a contemporary industry-
focused curriculum, driven by our strong institute Industry interface.
Further, it leads to us collaborative research with top national and
international technical institutions. Recently this institute has been
granted academic autonomous status by university grant commission
therefore we are bound to create transparent and professional

INFRASTRUCTURE
College has sound infrastructure
with lush green campus of 240
acres (.97km2) which is next only to
IIT Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. The
Institute proudly announces to
have highest land area among all
the colleges of AKTU Lucknow.
Total built-up area of the Institute
building 28700 sq. m.
The institute has 8 hostels (6 for
Boys and 2 for girls) with
accommodation capacity of 1600
persons.
Institute has a central canteen
beside this canteens are provided
to each hostel to cater the need of
students.
The Institute has a language lab
for communication skill and
personality development.
A branch of Post Office is also
provided in the campus for
mailing purpose.
The Institute has a fully A.C.
Guest House for the emergency
accommodation purpose.
The Institute has a Central play
ground, Several Race tracks,
Basketball court, Football ground,
Tennis court and facilities for
indoor games like Chess, Carrom,
and Table Tennis etc.
 FACILITIES
LIBRARY
B.I.E.T. central library serves as the perennial source
of knowledge that quenches the thirst of students as
well as faculty members. It has a rich collection of
35,000 books including 8,300 books funded by World
Bank on various current and emerging technologies
related to various streams and 6500 books for SC/ST
Student. B.I.E.T. Library has a Library Software TLS
which works for the arrangement and complete
automation providing the students an easy reach to all
the books available.

INTERNET
To make the Faculties/Students Up to Date with
latest technologies the institute provides internet
facility to the entire faculty, Staffs and Students
and makes the sharing of knowledge simpler
and better.

GUEST HOUSE
The college has a Guest House, located at a
walking distance from Administrative block, to
welcome all the honourable guests of the college
which has total six double-bed well furnished
rooms. All the rooms are Air Conditioned. All the
necessary amenities are provided in the guest
house.

STUDENT
ACTIVITY CENTRE
The Students’ Activity Centre is the nerve centre
of all the student activities on the campus. The
centre comprises of a club building, gymnasium
hall, and hobbies workshop, which cater to
various extra-curricular activities of the students.
 CAFETERIA
A Central Canteen is also provided with in the
campus of the Institution. The canteen provides
fresh nutritious food at nominal rates. The canteen
is open 24x7. It provides doorstep delivery of
food for girls during night hours.

GYM
For students to stay fit and healthy, gym and
fitness centre facilities are provide to the students
they include treadmill, exercise bikes and more of
the latest fitness equipment.

DISPENSARY
The dispensary is the heart beat of the institute
which provide Treatment for different diseases
and also provide first aid to the injured. B.I.E.T.
has a fully fledged 24 hours medical dispensary
with all the necessary arrangements to meet any
emergency situation.

TRANSPORT
FACILITIES
The institute is having a fleet of buses which takes
rounds to the city to provide transportation to
students and staff to different locations in and
near by area every alternate day.
