Introduction (Hook)

● Start off by showing Norman Rockwell’s painting ‘shinner’


● Ask students what they think is going on in the painting
● Possible guiding questions: Students 10-15
● What do you think the girl did ? answer minutes
● Who punched who first ? questions
● Do you think the girl’s mother is happy ?

Student Norman Rockwell Story

● Students will receive a worksheet that has Rockwell painting and Work on 25-30
guiding questions to help form a short descriptive story Descriptive minutes
