To whom it may concern,
I am writing to recommend William Coefield for your consideration. I was Mr. Coefield’s Noncommissioned Officer in
Charge from 2012 to 2013 while he was serving in the United States Marine Corps. I can attest to his impeccable
personal character and strong work ethic firsthand and can say without reservation that William’s contributions to our
unit, while engaged in combat operations, were immeasurable.
While William was deployed as a junior Marine under my charge, I placed him in positions of independence and
responsibility and was routinely impressed with his initiative and perseverance. I entrusted William with difficult and
unusual tasks which he was able to accomplish with exemplary communication, multi-tasking skills, and dedication. I can
say without reservation that William outperformed the vast majority of his peers during the performance of his daily
duties.
There is no doubt in my mind that William Coefield would be an asset to your organization and I enthusiastically
recommend him for any endeavor he chooses to pursue.
Sincerely,
David Curtis, Sergeant
United States Marine Corps
