Speaking: To ask and answer questions about the position of objects and people.

Listening: To listen to and follow instructions.

Reading: To answer questions using information from a picture.

Writing: To write sentences using job names and on the (left/right).

Lesson Activities: What will students do in the lesson?

 I will start the lesson by giving each group a picture that is cut as a jigsaw puzzle, they
have to connect the pieces to get the full picture.
Each group will have a different picture of a job. They should tape the parts together
into a A3 paper. The also should write the name of job.
 I will choose to students to come to the board and I will ask them
“who can tell me which of them is standing on the right?”
“who can tell me which of them is standing on the left?”

We will open the book and talk about different jobs that we have in the UAE.

 Let’s open the activity book and answer few questions

- The window cleaners are on the left.


- The gardener is on the left.
- The street cleaner is on the left.
- The fighters are on the right.
- The painter is on the right.
- The baker is on the right.

 I will give the students a worksheet that they should complete.

Evaluation / Assessment: How will you know your students have achieved the goal?

 To make sure that the students have achieved the goal they will be able to use (left and
right) correctly.

 They will be able to complete the activity book task.

In this lesson, I will try to improve my managing skill in the classroom.
