not have to. I would also like to know why America; supposedly the leading country
is not even ranked 50th of countries with the highest percentage of women in
parliament. Do countries benefit with more women in positions of power and why
aren’t more American women gunning for these positions. I would like to know
what societal factors in America are the main causational reasons for the low
number of women in the positions of parliament. More specifically is the media
today affecting women’s aspirations and future goals. Is society today empowering
women to hold positions of power or disparaging them. Additionally in what ways
are not only women but girls as well being discouraged from seeking positions of
power.

a. Using the key terms found in your interest statement, find the technical definitions
of your key terms. Start compiling a list of key terms and definitions.
