Performance Test Code 6 on Steam Turbine ASME PTC 6 – 1996
Tôi sẽ mua bản sao và gửi cho các em sau:
For the Performance test: Requested to clarify limit & Scope (Witness test
only / Conducting Test) of negotiated with the purchaser and the code
applicable (PTC 6). We would like to clarify as follows:
1.1 Object:
In planning and running the test , the parties must strive to follow the code procedures
as closey as possible to achieve the lowest level of uncertainty.
1.2 Scope:
This code contains rules and prpocedures for the conduct and reporting of Turbine
testing , includeing mandatory requirements , testing techniques, and methods of
caculationof test results. The performance parameters which may be determined from
a code test include:
a. heat rate
b. generator output
c. steam follow
d. steam rate
e. feedwater flow

TURBINE/GENERATOR AND AUXILARIES
GUARANTEE PERFORMANCE
Performance Guaratee
Performance Guarantee shall apply to the steam turbine generator and shall be
achieved during Performance testing conducted in accordance with this clause.
Liquidated damages associated with failure to achieve these guarantee are address in
commercial proposal.
The equipment is guarantee on a “new and clean” basis for any all all tests. Contractor
will include degradation on correction factors to be applied to correct for degradation
caused by equipments operation during startup and commissioning and environmental
conditions in performance test procedures.
Performance Test shall be conducted in accordance with guarantee Conditions set forth
herein. The corrections that will allowed are those required to correct for Test conditions
that differ from the Guarantee Conditions defined herein and an allowance for test
uncertainty as defined by the performance Test Procedures and calculated in accordance
with thw ASME Performance Test Codes.
Note:
1. As per performance guarantee condition refer to CDA-test and Inspection
2. As per Heat balance condition. Refer to attachment for performance
guarantee
3. Minimum Acceptance Criteria shall be +5% (for Heat rate) and -5% (for
Gross Output). Futher stipulation shall be specified in contract conditionts

-number and location of valves or other means required to ensure that no uncounted –for
flow enters oe leaves the test cycle or bypasses any cycle components
-method of handling leakage flows, Orificed continuous drain flows, continuous
blowdowns, ect..to avoid complication in test or the introduction of errors.
-means of measuring pump-shaft seal and leakge flows
-number and locations of temperature wells and pressure connections
-number and location og duplicate instrument connections required to ensure correct
measurement at critical loints
-calibration and connection of instruments transformers to be used for measuring
electrical output.
-where a plant computer is used for data acquisitions
-method of determining the differential pressure across control valves satisfy the
provisions.
-method of determining steam quality including sampling technique, as required
-responsibility for obtaining a license for radio-active tracer and method of shipping,
receiving, handing , storing and using both the tracer and its associated equipment
-level of undue deterioration at which the acceptance test will be postponed until after the
first internal inspection
-method of establishing the efficiency of the feedwater pump turbine, if require
6. The following is a list of typical items upon which agreement shall be reached priod to
conducting the test:
-procedure for determining the condition of the turbine prior to the test
-location,type, and cablibration of instruments
-method of measurement not established in
-isolation of cycle during test
-method of detecting excessive feedwater –header leakage
-means for maintaining constant test conditions
-method isolating or arresting control valve action such as those caused by variation in
combustion- control system signal .electrical system, etc…
-operating conditions at which test are to be conducted including, but not limited to, the
loads, valve settings, or valve points to be used for each run
-position of manually and automatically operated valve
-frequency of observations
-number of test runs at the same test point
-duration of test runs
-duration of operation at test load before readings are commendced
-computer or data acquisition system to be used for test data acquisition and analysis
-arrangements for data acquisition and analysis, including calibration system
-procedures and format for recording data
-organization and training of test personnel and identification of the responsibility for the
test
-procedure for calculating test results
-curves to correct for measured generator output for deviations from specified power
factor and specified hydrogen pressure
-corrections for deviation of test steam conditions from those specified
5
-curves to correct test heat rate to specified cycle conditions
-method of conducting test run to determine the value of any correction factors
-method of handing deviations beyond the stated permissible levels as a result of
mismatch between test timing and seasonal effects on operating conditions
6.5 Location of turbine valve points: The method used to establish turbine valve points
depends on valve point definition. A valve point may be established in iterms of high
pressure turbine efficiency, certain measured turbine pressure, or valve –stem positions.
The turbine is then tested accordingly.

state conditions shall have been attained . Appropriate means shall be employed for
securing constant load. This may be accomplished by looking the valve-gear or control
valve travel in the opening direction at the desired load ,leaving the control valve free to
move in the closing direction in the event upsets or emergency situations.
-Operating conditions: Every effort shall be made to run the test under specified operating
conditions, or as close to specified operating conditions as possible in oder to avoid the
application of correction to test results, or minimize the magnitude of the corrections.
