 INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATE
1. THE HALL TICKET MUST BE RETAINED TILL THE DECLARATION OF FINAL RESULT.
2. Exam Date 25-11-2018 & timings are 09:30 am to 11:00 am. Please occupy your seat at least 30 minutes before the
commencement of the test. The complete test is ONLINE and consists of only Multiple Choice Questions. Once the
candidate is quali ed in the written exam, they will be directed to the concerned department for Interview on the
prescribed dates.
3. Every correct answer will be awarded 1 mark. There will be no negative marking.
4. Admission to the Entrance Examination is strictly provisional. It may be noted that possessing Hall Ticket and
appearing in entrance examination will not entitle a candidate for any claim on admission if she/he is not ful lling
the required eligibility conditions for admission as prescribed in the Detailed Noti cation and Eligibility Criteria for
admissions in PhD Program which will be thoroughly veri ed at the time of admission, if granted. At any stage if it is
found that any candidate does not ful ll the minimum eligibility requirements, his/her candidature will not be
considered for admission and if the admission is granted, it shall be cancelled forthwith.
5. Use of books, notebooks, cell phones/mobiles etc. is strictly prohibited in the examination hall.
6. Impersonation, use of unfair means shall lead to cancellation of the candidature.
7. Candidates shall not use ENTER button in key board during the ONLINE Exam. They should understand that pressing
the ENTER button will submit the answers for evaluation. They should use only mouse for choosing the right option
8. Candidates shall not be allowed to carry anything except Hall Ticket, Pen and Pencil in the Hall.
9. Any corrections in Name, Father’s name, DOB or any other relevant information of the candidate may be made in the
nominal rolls at the time of examination.
0. No request regarding scrutiny/revaluation of the answers of the test will be entertained in any case, at any stage.
