Absence due to Sickness 因病不能應考
 Candidate may apply for rescheduling on medical grounds. Completed application form together with the admission form and the original sick
leave certificate for the exam date issued by a registered doctor should reach HKEAA within two weeks after the examination date. Late
application will not be considered. 考生可申請因病更改考期服務。考生須於考試日期後兩星期內，將填妥的申請表格連同准考證及由
註冊醫生發出考試當天的病假證明書正本，遞交到考評局申請。逾期申請，恕不受理。
 If a new examination date cannot be found in the same examination period, eligible candidate may apply for a re-entry voucher or half refund
of examination fee. Please read carefully the conditions and details as stipulated on the application form. 如本局未能為考生安排在本期應
試，合適的考生可申請退回一半考試費或延期考試代用劵 (Re-entry Voucher) ，請細閱申請表上有關條款及詳情。

Typhoon/Rainstorm Arrangements 颱風/暴雨時的措施
 Under normal circumstances, the HKEAA announcement of the postponement/cancellation of an examination will be made approximately two
hours before the start of the examination. 在一般情況下，考評局會在開考前約兩小時發出延期或取消考試的宣布。
 The announcement of closure of schools due to a tropical cyclone or the issue of the Rainstorm Red or Black Warning does not necessarily
imply the postponement/cancellation of an examination scheduled to be held on that day. 即使政府宣布學校因熱帶氣旋警告或紅色/黑色暴
雨警告而須停課，並不表示該日考試一定延期或取消。
 Unless an announcement has been made by the HKEAA that examinations/ public examinations/ international and professional examinations
held by the HKEAA are postponed/cancelled due to bad weather conditions, candidates must assume that their examinations will be conducted
as originally scheduled. If the examination is conducted as originally scheduled but candidates have genuine difficulties in reaching the
examination centre, they should contact the Authority before the examination begins. 除非考評局正式宣布由本局舉辦的考試/公開考試/國
際及專業考試因惡劣天氣需要延期或取消，否則考生應依照原定安排應試。如考試依照原定安排進行，但考生前往試場有困難，必須
盡早於開考前與本局聯絡。
 In case of an announcement of postponement/cancellation of an examination, AM sessions normally refer to the examinations taking place
between 9:00am and 12:30pm while PM sessions refer to the examinations between 1:45pm and 5:15pm. 有關考試延期或取消的宣佈，上午
時段一般是指由上午 9 時至下午 12 時 30 分舉行的考試，而下午時段是指由下午 1 時 45 分至下午 5 時 15 分的考試。

 The completed application forms should reach the Authority at least two weeks before the original examination dates.
填妥的表格最遲於考試日期前兩星期遞交到考評局。
 The Authority cannot guarantee that all applications for rescheduling can be arranged. If the application is successful, the candidate will be required
to pay a supplementary fee. 本局 不能保證 所有改期申請必定獲得處理。倘改期申請成功，考生須繳交考試改期附加費。

REGULATIONS FOR PRACTICAL EXAMS 術科考試規則
1. Candidates should report to the Waiting Room Supervisor at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time. 考生須於 應考時間前十五分鐘 向候考室主管報到。
2. Candidates must bring an official and valid identification document (original) bearing own photograph to the examination (Impersonation at an examination may
lead to disqualification from examination). 考生必須帶備附有其照片的有效身分證明文件正本應試 (冒充或託人代考者，均有機會被取消考試資格)。
3. Candidates whose identification document bearing no photo should bring an additional valid, photo bearing original document (e.g. Student ID card, School
handbook) with the English name identical to the one on the admission form. 如考生持有之身分證明文件未附有相片，須 另外 攜帶附有相片的有效證明文
件正本(如學生證、學校手冊)，惟有關文件上的英文姓名須與准考證上相同。
4. ABRSM requires all candidates to be present for exams according to the dates, times and places specified on their admission forms, and cannot undertake to alter
the appointments once the admission forms are issued. ABRSM 要求考生跟從准考證上指定的考試日期、時間和場地出席考試，在准考證發出後不能更
改其考試資料。
5. Examiners may refuse to examine latecomers. Under no circumstances should these exams be rescheduled or fees paid be refunded. 考官可拒絕為遲到的考生
應考，亦不會為其安排補考或退還任何考試費和其他已繳付的費用。
6. You must check the information (including candidate’s name) printed on your mark form to ensure that you are given the correct mark form. If there are any
errors, report these to the waiting room supervisor immediately. You must sign in the designated area to confirm that the mark form given to you are correct. Use
of incorrect mark form may affect the recording of the examination results. Do not write on/deface your mark form. 考生必須核對分紙上的資料（包括考生姓
名），以確保獲發的分紙正確無誤。如發現錯誤，須立即告知侯考室主管。確定你所獲發的分紙正確後，在指定位置內簽署。使用錯誤的分紙可導致
考試成績的紀錄出現問題。切勿弄污或弄皺分紙。
7. When it is time for you to be examined, the waiting room supervisor will direct you to the examination room. 考生應依照侯考室主管的指引前往指定的考室
應考。
8. Do not take away the mark form or any others examination materials after the examination is finished. 完成考試後，考生須在離開試場前把分紙或任何考試
物品交還主考員。
9. There may be observers in the examination room to ensure the quality of the examination process. 除主考員外，個別考室或有其他考務人員監察考試運作。
10. You are advised not to bring valuables to examination centres. Candidates and their accompanying persons should take good care of their own personal
belongings at the examination centre. Neither the Authority, nor the examining body or the examination centre is responsible for any damage/loss of the
personal belongings or personal injury of the candidates and their accompanying persons at the examination centre. 不應攜帶貴重物品前往試場。考生與其隨
行人士應小心看管個人財物，香港考試及評核局、ABRSM 和試場恕不負責任何物品之遺失或損毀，及對身體造成的傷害。
11. Exams will be conducted in English. Candidates are advised to study the related syllabus and get familiar with the terminology related to scales and arpeggios
and the aural tests in particular. 考試會以英語進行。考生應細閱課程手冊以完全熟習有關音階、琶音和聽覺測驗的專門詞彙。
12. Candidates who play from memory MUST bring their test pieces for the examiner’s use. 若考生憑記憶(背譜)演奏，亦必須自備考試曲目予考官使用。
13. Candidates have the sole responsibility to ensure that the requirements and regulations of the examinations are complied with. Candidates failing to observe
specific syllabus requirements or regulations (i.e. performing a piece not listed in the syllabus or not being prepared to perform the full extent of a piece as
indicated in the syllabus) may be penalized, or in certain cases, disqualified. 考生有責任遵照考試規則及相關要求。若考生未能跟從課程手冊的指定要求或
規則 (如演奏非課程手冊內的曲目或未能準備該手册內的整首曲目)，考生可被懲處或在特定情況下被取消資格。
14. Candidates must provide own accompanists who may remain in the exam room only whilst actually being engaged in accompanying. A teacher may act as an
accompanist but the examiner will not. The accompanist should reach the exam centre 15 minutes before the examination commencing time. 考生需自行攜同
伴奏應試，該伴奏只可在需要伴奏時才可停留在試場內。老師可充當伴奏，但考官將不會擔任此工作。伴奏亦需於應考時間前 十五分鐘 到達試場。
15. Candidates using stringed or wind instruments should tune their instruments to the piano in the exam room immediately before the exam, either by themselves or
the accompanists, but not the examiners. 若考生演奏弦樂器或管樂器，其本人或伴奏應在考試前立即與考試房間內的鋼琴調較其樂器，考官將不會擔任
此工作。
16. No one is allowed to listen outside the exam room, nor is anyone allowed to remain near the door except the Waiting Room Supervisor, or the representatives of
the ABRSM. 除候考室主管及 ABRSM 代表外，任何人士均不得在考試房間外聆聽或停留在房門附近。
17. You are strongly advised not to bring your mobile phone to the examination centre. If you have brought a mobile phone, you must turn it off (including the alarm
function) and put it inside your bag before entering the waiting room. You are also advised to take out the battery from your mobile phone before entering the
waiting room to ensure that no sound will be emitted because of the alarm function. If your mobile phone/article emits sound/vibrates in the examination room, it
will be treated as an irregularity which will be reported to ABRSM. 本局強烈勸籲考生不要攜帶手提電話進入試場。如有攜帶手提電話，必須在進入報到
室前將之關掉（包括響鬧功能）及放入手提包內。本局亦勸籲考生，應於進入侯考室前，先將手提電話的電池取出，以確保電話不會因預設的響鬧功
能而發出聲響。考生的手提電話／電子器材於考室發出聲響，將視為違規，且會上報 ABRSM。
18. You are not allowed to take photographs or video-record or audio-record in the waiting room and the examination room. If the photographs/video/audio records
are displayed electronically or publicly, it will be treated as an irregularity which will be reported to ABRSM. 考生不得於侯考室及考室內攝影／錄影／錄
音。考生如將有關相片／錄像／錄音公開展示，將視為違規，且會上報 ABRSM。
19. You are not allowed to eat (including chewing gum), smoke or litter anywhere in the examination venues, but you may drink water in the waiting room.
Candidates who misbehave or act maliciously in such a way that they upset the conduct of the examination will be treated as an irregularity which will be
reported to ABRSM. 考生不可在試場範圍內進食（包括咀嚼香口膠）、吸煙或亂拋垃圾，但可在報到室內喝水。考生如行為不檢，或肆意擾亂考試秩
序將視為違規，且會上報 ABRSM。
20. You must not talk to other candidates or use an electronic device (such as mobile phone, tablet or smart watch) to communicate with others or access the
internet/email/SMS etc. after entering the waiting room until the end of the examination. You may read books/newspapers in the waiting room but must stay in
your seat. 考生在進入侯考室後，直至考試完畢，不可與其他考生交談，或使用電子器材（例如：手提電話、平板電腦或智能手錶）通訊，上網/收發
電郵或訊息等。在侯考室內不得隨意走動，但可閱讀書報。
21. It is advisable for you to eat something before going to the examination centre. 你在赴試場前宜先進食。
22. If an exam session is cancelled due to bad weather conditions, the candidate concerned will be informed of the date/time of the rescheduled session via the
applicant. 若因天氣惡劣而要取消考試，本局將會透過申請人通知考生有關改期後的考試日期/時間。
23. The making or use of photocopies (or other kinds of copies) of copyright works is not permitted. For details, please refer to this year’s ‘Examination Information
& Regulations’. ABRSM reserves the right to withhold the examination result of any candidate where it has evidence of the use of an illegal copy (or copies) in
connection with that exam. 考生不得使用有版權的文件的複印本，詳情請參閱該年度的“考試資料及規則”。若有證據顯示考生於考試時使用未經授
權的複印本，ABRSM 保留拒發有關考生成績的權利。
24. Exam results will be sent by post to the applicants approximately seven weeks after the dates of examinations. Certificates of successful candidates will be sent
by registered post/local courier to the applicants in early August of the same year (April/May administration) and early February of the next year (Aug to
early/mid-Nov administration). Applicants who have not received their candidates’ certificates should contact ABRSM Team within five months after the issue
of certificates. Otherwise, the certificates will be regarded as successfully received by the applicants. Uncollected certificates will be destroyed five months after
the issue of certificates. After that, requests for uncollected certificate will be regarded as applications for replacement of certificates and supplementary fees will
be levied. 考試成績約於考試日後約七星期以平郵方式寄給申請人。合格考生的證書將於同年 8 月上旬(4/5 月考試)及翌年 2 月上旬(8 至 11 月初/中
考試)以掛號信／本地郵政速遞形式寄給申請人。倘申請人未能於上述時間收到其考生的證書，申請人必須於五個月內 (由發出證書日起計)與本局聯
絡。否則，有關證書將視作為成功派遞給申請人。未領取之證書將於五個月後 (由發出證書日起計)銷毀。倘於日後要求領取有關證書，將作「申請
補發證書」處理，考生須另繳附加費用。
25. Examination centres may be air-conditioned. Candidates are advised to bring a jacket with them. Subject to the actual weather condition, individual examination
centres may decide whether or not to turn on the air-conditioners. Claims of performance being affected by unsuitable room temperature will NOT be entertained.
考試場地可能備有空調設備，如有需要，考生可自行攜帶外套。個別試場學校會視乎實際天氣情況而決定是否開啟空調。考生就其考試表現受試場內
室温水平影響的投訴將不獲處理。
26. Complaints about performance being affected by the examiners’ mannerisms and facial expressions will NOT be entertained. 有關投訴主考員的態度及面部表
情而影響表現等個案將不獲處理。
27. ABRSM will not accept any claims from candidates for being misinformed by others as an excuse for exemption from penalty for violation of any examination
regulations. 考生聲稱受他人誤導，以致違反任何考試規則，並要求豁免相關處罰，均不會獲 ABRSM 接納。
