Hook happened to be Latin salsa. He brought it to the U.S. in 1999 and it has spread like wild fire. First we are going to watch a short video just so you
know what is expected in a Zumba class.
I’m going to show you the few moves that we will start with today. We will be using them through out the routine so make sure you pay attention
and practice them with me while checking yourself in the mirrors. I expect everyone to learn these and be able to do them with out watching me. You
will be getting assessed on how well you do one of the dance moves.

For each dance move I will show them it, break it down by the cues and have them repeat the movement a few times. This is also included in on the

Raise your hand if you had fun today. Zumba is a great activity for anyone who doesn’t want to just go to a gym and run on a treadmill and also
for people who need others around them to motivate them. Its fun and something new, even for those who may hate dancing, it still has a good
balance of fitness. It will definitely make you sweat!
