Open Distance Learning mode.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following
programs under Open Distance Learning (ODL) mode as approved by Distance
Education Bureau of University Grant Commission.

Under Graduate Programs:

 Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
 Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)
 B.Sc. (Information Technology)
Post-Graduate Programs:
 Master of Arts in Kannada (M.A. in Kannada)
 Master of Arts in English (M.A in English)
 Master of Arts in Economics (M.A in Economics)
 Master of Arts in History (M.A in History)
 Master of Arts in Political Science (M.A in Political Science)
 Master of Arts in Sociology (M.A in Sociology)
 Master of Commerce (M.Com)
 Master of Science in Information Technology (M.Sc. in IT)
 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. The eligible candidates can download the application form at http://www.uni-

mysore.ac.in/english-version/sites/default/files/content/odl_applicationform_2018-19.pdf
and the filled in application along with a DD of Rs. 400/- drawn in favor of Finance
Officer, University of Mysore, Mysuru shall be submitted to the Office of the
Director, Directorate of Distance Education, National Centre for History of
Science Building, Manasagangothri, Mysuru – 570006 on or before 20th October
2018.

2. The application should be enclosed with the self attested copies of the relevant
documents (http://www.uni-mysore.ac.in/english-
version/sites/default/files/content/odl_enclosures.pdf ).

3. At the time of application submission, candidates have to produce all original

documents for verification. The candidates found to be eligible for admission by the
respective selection committee can get admitted by paying the prescribed fee to the
general revenue account number 54007591471 on or before 20-10-2018.

4. Immediately after paying the prescribed fee, the candidates should enroll for the
program at the office of the Director, Directorate of Distance Education.

5. The candidates who wish to submit an application through postal services have to send
the duly filled application form along with self attested copies of all relevant
documents (http://www.uni-mysore.ac.in/english-
version/sites/default/files/content/odl_enclosures.pdf ) and a DD of Rs. 400/- towards
Application fee and a separate DD for the prescribed fee for the programme. These
candidates are provisionally admitted. However, they are required to get the admission
confirmed by producing the original copies of the documents during period of contact
programs. Otherwise, their provisional admission is liable to be forfeited.
