the training of doctors of the OTMH will be
acceptable as prerequisites for appearing in
Fellowship examination in Psychiatry if they
are allowed to work in the Psychiatry
department of the SSMCH during the period
in question. In that case an attested copy of
the order of the Director of the hospital
allowing them to work in the hospital will
have to be submitted by the candidates
concerned along with their applications while
they will appear in the said examination.

(1) Six months training as Registrar and Assistant Registrar in the dept. of Casualty in DMCH and Mitford Hospital
will be accepted as approved training as prerequisite for appearing in the Fellowship Examination of the College.

(2) Training in District Sadar Hospital:-

Training under a Fellow (FCPS) or equivalent recognized by BMDC in the district sadar hospital having 100 beds or above will be accepted for 2 (two) years and in the district sadar
hospital having 50 beds or above will be accepted for 1 (one) year for appearing in FCPS Part – II examination of BCPS. This recognition of training will remain effective from July,
2003. In the mean time an inspection team from BCPS will visit the district sadar hospital to see the teaching and training facilities of the various departments of said hospital.

 Honorary Training in District Sadar Hospital will not be accepted.
