3.1 Flowchart of Activities

3.1.1 Powdered Formula

3.1.1.1Collection of Solid wastes

The collection of solid will be done daily. The raw materials will be obtained
from domestic sources (e.g. households, local restaurants, canteens and etc.) only. To be collected
materials are immediately subjected to the preparation step, this is to prevent further degradation of
raw material. This act will all be done manually.

3.1.1.2Preparation of Raw Materials

After collecting the raw materials, the raw materials will first undergo
preparation steps before proceeding to the next steps. In the preparation section the raw materials will
be sprayed with water so that dust formation will be lessened. Moisture content will be raised by l-5%or
50 -250 ml of water per 5kg of feed. The oversize material (+65 mm) on the top deck is recycled to the
primary crushing circuit and re-circulated back to the primary screening circuit. The undersize material (-
25 mm) from the bottom deck is sent to the secondary screening circuit; and the remaining material
(+25 mm, - 65 mm) is conveyed to the Secondary Crushing. The oversize material {+25 mm) on the top
deck is recycled to the secondary crushing circuit and re-circulated back to the secondary screening. The
remaining materials are sent to the individual undersized material bin.

3.1.1.3Weighing and Mixing

In this section the prepared materials will be weighed in an analytical balance

then mixed in a non-reactive container. The mixing of the materials will be done manually. The mixture
will be weighed again, and the mixtures composition will be determined using the pre-determined
weight of materials and the total weight of the mixture
