Drilex Motors
Drilex downhole motors deliver power
and reliability in drilling and workover
operations. The Drilex line is a com-
plete family of high-performance drill-
ing motors, proven across a wide vari-
ety of demanding applications.

Pioneers in Specialized
Drilling Motors
Drilex motors have been successfully
drilling oil and gas wells since 1981. As
a worldwide leader in drilling motor
technology, Drilex led the way in
multilobe motor design and perfor-
mance. Over fifteen years of experience
in directional and performance drilling
have enabled us to optimize the perfor-
mance and reliability of our fleet of
Drilex motors.

Re-entry/Short Radius
Drilling Motors to Optimize
Well Production
The Drilex line includes a comprehen-
sive range of small diameter motors
designed specifically for re-entry drill-
ing. We can supply each re-entry
project with the right tool for the job. Shorter on average than comparable drilling motors, Drilex short radius motors are still fully-powered in

Drilex Horizontal Drilling Motors
Horizontal Drilling Motors
that go the Distance
Drilex motors have been at the fore-
front of horizontal drilling technology
since its inception. Innovation and
continual improvement have character-
ized Drilex motors as our engineers
have worked alongside field service
professionals to enhance horizontal
drilling performance.

Single-and Dual-Bend Motors

for Medium Radius Curves
The Drilex single- and dual-bend
motors are ideal for drilling the curved
sections of medium radius wells. These
unique motors feature:
• power section designs that minimize
distances between bends, improving
build rates and delivering more avail-
able torque
• specially-designed bearing sections to
further enhance build rates (up to Drilex motors deliver faster horizontal ROP to
40°/100ft) achieve lower cost per foot.
• sizes ranging from 31/2 to 91/2.

Drilex HP Motors
The new Drilex HP motors are de-
signed to take “high performance” to a
higher level. These new motors feature
a single-piece, multi-stage power sec-
tion that delivers all the torque and
horsepower of our tandem motors with
a significantly reduced length. Cur-
rently available models include the
287, 350, and 475.
