ORGANIZATIONAL INVOLVEMENT/VOLUNTEER
Global Medical Brigades - opportunity to travel to Africa during the summer to provide
medical health care to rural communities in Ghana.
Student Nurses of University of Arizona (SNUA) – I held the secretary position of the student
nursing club, and participated in volunteer work throughout the Tucson community
Phoenix Children’s Hospital – Summer Intensive Volunteer Program – Completed 70 hours
of volunteering in the PACU, PICU, and CVICU units helping children and their families
experience and quality of stay. I also assisted the nurses in these areas with their care of the
children by playing with them, holding them, and talking to them and their families.
INTERESTS
Activities I enjoy in my free time are yoga, hiking and reading. I participate in multiple team
sports including sand and indoor volleyball, as well as kickball and flag football. I am a strong
advocate for living a balanced lifestyle regarding work and self-care.
