Se utiliza dos temperaturas para tener una referencia. De la ecuación de intensidad (1)
podemos ver que esta depende de la frecuencia (v) y de la temperatura (T). Por tanto con
el cociente de las intensidades a dos temperaturas distintas podemos comparar cómo
cambia la intensidad entre distintas temperaturas, respecto a la temperatura inicial.

Low-temperature filaments (2500 to 2700 K) are particularly rich in red spectral energy
and tend to bring out red in skin complexions, making people appear healthier. Higher
temperature filaments (2800 to 2900 K) are relatively richer in blue wavelengths, and
are paradoxically called “cooler” lights in the color sense.
