 Assist cooperating teacher in a Kindergarten classroom comprised of twenty-four
students.
 Assist CT in morning procedures including RTI and CKLA work.
 Assess students on their knowledge of the letter and sounds of the alphabet,
colors, shapes, and numbers.
 Work with twelve ELL students during station work, focusing on components of
RTI as well as being able to write their names, use a pincer grip while writing,
draw horizontal and vertical lines, count/repeat the words in a phrase through the
use of cubes, and recognize and draw various shapes.
 Monitor student progress when performing seat work (i.e., tracing and writing
certain letters of the alphabet) and provide help when needed.

 Provide care to twelve toddlers alongside two other caregivers.
 Collaborate with other caregivers to create lesson plans that focus on a central
theme in order to reinforce the children’s knowledge of colors, numbers, and
shapes.
 Lead circle time, which involves singing songs, reading stories, and reinforcing
colors, shapes, and numbers through various activities.
 Change diapers and serve breakfast, lunch, and snack to children.
 Train two new caregivers in creating lesson plans, conducting lessons, leading
circle time, and changing diapers.

 Tutored two second graders in reading while focusing on their recognition and
comprehension of various sight words.
 Demonstrated effective reading strategies that assisted in the decoding of
unfamiliar sight words.
 Created lesson plans for each session that included reading and writing
instruction while applying learning theories to each of the lessons.
 Gained an understanding of Michigan’s English Language Arts standards and
benchmarks.
