OBJECTIVES
To build a variable power supply is the primary objective of this prototype with an
output of DC. Implementing all the studies and theories that is learned from this
course, Electronics 1 lecture and laboratory experiments, is a significant factor to
achieve the superb prototype. To include the studies learned about circuits is the
second objective of this prototype. To produce multiple DC voltage output, which
are 0V, 7V , 11V, 17 V, and 21 V, with 5% tolerance, is the last objective of this
prototype.
With the group cooperation and used simulation softwares for testing circuits, the
prototype is made possible in PCB. The items used in PCB are mostly same as the
items that are practiced in laboratory experiments, also the methods are further
explained in the lectures. Other components are known to basic components in the
prototype for they are needed to complete the output. The prototype outcomes with
a circuit including full wave bridge rectifier, capacitors, resistors, switches, LED,
and zener diodes, which operates as a regulator.
