Steps to register Taleo 15B source with BI Applications

Background: BI Applications 11.1.1.10.2 BIA console will allow customers to register source with Taleo
15A adaptor. The same release is also certified with use for Taleo 15B but the configuration process is
different. Customers with Taleo 15B source will need to register the source as Taleo15A and then follow
the steps below to be able to extract data from Taleo 15B.

Step 1: if TALEO15A_SDS was not configured during the initial BIAPPS install/config, then please follow
below documentation link to provision TALEO15A SDS.

Above Document script creates the WLS data source for the SDS type and provisions the SDS Data server
in ODI

This steps summary is:

1. Run the BIAPPS RCU to create the SDS schema for the source type
2. Run the provided script to prov new SDS types
a. The script internally creates the weblogic data source.
b. And also provisions the new SDS type in ODI.

Step2: Register Taleo source in BIACM as shown below.

Product Line —Taleo Recruitment.

Product Line Version — Taleo Recruitment 15A

Source Instance Name — Enter a short readable name to identify this data source in Configuration
Manager.
Description — (Optional) Enter a short description to help Administrators and Implementers identify and
use this data source in Configuration Manager.

Data Source Number — Enter an integer or use the spinner to specify a number to identify data in the
OTBI-Enterprise data warehouse. This number must be unique within Configuration Manager. The
number 999 is reserved, and should not be used.

Click on Next button to proceed.

Replicator Schema Configuration — Choose WLS SDS data source which was created/configured using
Step1

Host name — please provide Taleo 15B source instance host name

User — please provide Taleo 15B source instance Username to connect

Password — please provide Taleo 15B source instance User Password
