Air cooled condensing units

ITALIA REFRIGERAZIONE manufacture a wide range of open condensing units, low noise condensing units, multi compressor packs , 
standard  condensing  units  with  scroll  compressors  and  special  units  for  refrigeration  and  air  conditioning,  employing  different 
refrigerants as R22, R134A, R410A,R407C, R407F and R407A. 
 
The  ‘UB,UD  and  UF’  series  of  air  cooled  units  has  been  developed  for  commercial  and 
industrial  refrigeration.  The  range  features  units  fitted  with  Dorin  Frascold  and  Bitzer  Semi 
Hermetic    Compressor  sizes  vary  from  3hP  to  40hP,  covering  High,  Medium  and  Low 
temperature operation, and the units are suitable for use on R404a, R134a, R407F and R407A  
refrigerants. 
IR  condensing  units  are  designed  for  efficient  operation  and  the  use  of  quality  components 
give a long product life and reduced maintenance. 
 
This range of units offers a high quality product which is PED certified, at a competitive price and is designed for indoor installation, 
in a plant room or other suitable area.  However where required an optional weatherproof housing can be supplied to enable the 
units to be located outside.  
 
 
Other options available include pressure actuated condenser fan speed control, to maximise 
the  efficiency  and  flexibility  of  the  units;  and  a  liquid  line  with  drier  &  sight  glass  fitted,  a 
suction stub fitted, or an oil separator fitted to minimize installation time. 
 
To further simplify installation all electrical items on the unit; the compressor, the condenser 
fans,  the  crankcase  heater,  and  all  safety  and  other  controls  are  wired  back  to  a  common 
electrical box with a clear terminal arrangement.

• Zinc plated steel frame, epoxy powder coated (RAL 9005) 
• Scroll compressor with internal motor protection 
• Condenser coil made of copper tube and aluminium fins ( RAL9005 epoxy powder coating, when provided) 
• External‐rotor axial fan motors  
• Liquid receiver fitted with pressure relief valve 
• Vibration damper on the compressor discharge line  
• Dual pressure switch (auto/auto) 
• Weld‐type shut‐off valve connections 
• Terminal box  
• Condensing unit supplied with (5 bar) nitrogen holding charge 
• Units are paked in a cardboard carton or wooden crate depending upon 
model
