COMPLAINT-AFFIDAVIT

I, CHARLES A. SANTOS, of legal age, married, Filipino, and with postal

address at Brgy. Kamagayan, Cebu City, having been duly sworn to in
accordance with law, hereby depose and state that:

1. I am the owner and caretaker of a storage house located at Brgy.

Kamagayan, Cebu City;

2. Said storage house is only being used to store various iron tools utilized in
our business;

3. On August 29, 2018, I was doing inventory in the warehouse from 6:00pm
to 10:00pm;

4. After I closed and locked up all windows and doors of the warehouse, I left
so I could go home;

5. At around 12:35 am of August 30, 2018, there was a knock on my door

and when I opened it, it was Barangay Tanod Hap Haincadto, informing
me that my storage house was broken into and robbed, and that two
suspects, were brought to the Kamagayan Police Station for questioning;

6. I immediately asked Tanod Haincadto to come with me first to the storage

house to check on the damage and I saw that one side of the outer wall
was destroyed to create an entrance and that the things inside were
scattered;

7. After which, we went to the Police Station to confront said suspects and
identify the items recovered;

8. It was only after I identified the items that the younger suspect answered
the Police questions and identified himself as Duke Quirante Pardillo, 20
years old from Labangon, Cebu City, and the other one as Ian Jay
Abrogar, 30 years old from San Fernando, Cebu;

9. Thus I am filing a case of Robbery with force upon things in an

uninhabited place against Ian Jay Abrogar and Duke Pardillo Quirante;

10. Attached to this Complaint-Affidavit is a copy of the Police Blotter, as

Annex “A”, and Supporting Affidavit of the arresting Barangay Tanod Hap
Haincadto as Annex “B”, and the Joint Supporting Affidavit of Paul
Mercader and Roberto Siscon, as Annex “C”;

11. I am executing this affidavit to confirm the foregoing circumstances and in

order to file the above-mentioned case against the above-mentioned
suspects.
