Led a group of children entering first grade in various activities, including field trips.
Responsible for safety as well as educational activities and just-for-fun activities. At
times, led mixed-age group in activities.
Parish Nursery Volunteer, Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Naperville, IL:

Helped care for infants and young children up to age 7 while their parents attended
Mass. Monitored safety and ensured children were engaging in kind, appropriate
behaviors. Calmed down children and played with children.

Crew leader for children aged 5-11 years old. Was responsible for the safety and
behavior of groups of about 5-6 children. Assisted with games, activities, singing, and
dancing.

Worked with preschoolers and other student teachers each day under the guidance of
a licensed teacher, taught a lesson every other week about a range of subjects, and
made a bulletin board every other month.

Experience: Present. Clean bathrooms, clean chalkboards and desks, take out trash, vacuum,
clean windows, dust wood surfaces, and assist with other projects.

Through Franciscan University’s Works of Mercy department, visit residents (adults
with disabilities) once a week, providing residents with socialization and friendship.
Leader of the ministry from Spring 2016-Present, in charge of communicating with the
nurses and Works of Mercy department, arranging transportation, assisting volunteers,
and other miscellaneous duties.
