Strengths of the lesson:


Using a the ‘Thumbs Up” and “ Thumbs Down” is a quick assessment that allows you to see if
the students are getting and understanding the concepts. It’s also good in that it doesn’t require
pencil and paper.

Areas for development:


Coming up with differentiated activities that doesn’t involve a worksheet can be challenging. Try
coming up with some hands on activities to show differentiation.

Observed Strengths:

Mariam has very good planning with coming up with materials needed to execute the lesson. Using
technology is a great tool.

Areas for Development:

The use of time for the lesson and what I mean is to have additional materials to extend the lesson.

General Comments

Overall Mariam is doing an awesome job with planning and reaching out to the kids. Her continued
patience will be a great asset when she becomes a teacher.
