Justification:
To cover reading content, I will use the books that I previously acquired. These books
along with the ones already in the classroom will be use as part of center or within guided
reading instruction. The clipboards will be used for some flexible seating. Writing journals and
magnetic letters will be used during writing activities. Also, the magnetic letters and the dry-
erased markers will be use with the magnetic boards to work on phonics. The play dough will be
use in centers to allow children to create alphabet letters or students can create their name.

Justification:
To teach math content I will use the workbooks provided. In centers students will use the
shapes magnetic activity set to match the shapes to the picture. Using counting cubes students
will learn to count to 20 more if possible. Students will use the connecting shapes building block
set to connect the shapes and create any figure possible. The magnetic numbers will be used to
help students practice counting and then they will write the numbers in their journals.

Justification
Students will start of using the science lab set to expose them to what they will be using
in later grades. The magnet lab set will be used to allow students to see how some items can
attract and some can repel. The weather set will allow students to recognize each season and
dress the character accordantly.

Justification
Student will use the Play-Doh kit to help them create numbers and letters using the cut
outs. The blocks will be used to help students see how each shape is different and they will use
their hands to help them construct any object. The coloring books will be used to help children
relax and help them color inside the lines. Finally, the movement cards game will allow students
to create a sound, walk like the animal and mimic the object allowing students to activate their
brain to create the movement of the objects.

help them create sounds.

Justification:
Students will use this center to learn about currency. The kitchen play set will help mimic
a real kitchen. The play food set will be used to create different breakfast, lunch and dinner
plates. One of the students will pretend to be the chef and he or she will pretend to cook the food
to be serve to a customer. Another student will be in charge of the cash register and he or she
will be responsible for collecting the payment.
