Call for Innovation

The 16th CENS UI

TERMS OF PARTICIPANT

• Participants can join individually or in team (max. 3 members) from the same university.

• Team members are allowed to come from different major.

• Each team has one team leader

• Participants should be an active undergraduate students (by 14th September 2018)

whether in a public or private universities in Indonesia or abroad

• Each person can only be in one team (are not allowed to be in two or more team)

REGISTRATION MECHANISM

• Participants must register online through cens-ui.com/cfi

• Participants must attach scanned of valid student identity card.

• Participant must submit the abstract of the paper first on the date which has been
specified in the competition timeline.

• Format for the abstract can be dowloaded through https://cens-ui.com/cfi

• Abstract is submitted through https://cens-ui.com/cfi

• Participants that passed the abstract selection must pay the registration fee of
Rp.150.000,00 for Indonesian students and US$15 for abroad students to the bank
account of Benedicta Vanesa 1570006119839 Mandiri.
 • Participants confirm the payment by attaching the payment receipt on the payment
receipt section in end the full paper.

TERMS OF COMPETITION
• The topic for the paper is “Urban Infrastructure to Support Compact City Development”.

• The subtopics for the paper that can be choosen are:

1. Transportation network planning in compact infrastructure.

2. Innovative low-cost housing for social welfare.
3. Drainage system on compact infrastructure.
4. Innovation on vertical housing infrastructuree for residential area.
5. Social approaches to public about living in a vertical building.
6. Green infrastructure as disaster rick reduction measure.
7. Compact city in improving the economy and resources quality of related regional.

• Participants may choose one or more subtopics to combine to be the topic of their paper.

• Participant will be notified of their abstract acceptance through our website.

• Paper will be peered reviewed by 2 high quality reviewers.

• The top 5 finalists chosen will present their paper in final presentation of the 16th CENS UI

• The top 5 finalists chosen must create an animation video regarding their paper with
minimum duration of 2 minute and maximum duration of 3 minute.

• Accepted and presented papers will be announced through our website.

• The top 5 finalists chosen will be given study case at the same day of the final presentation
of the 16th CENS UI.

• The total assessment consists of 60% paper and 40% study case.
 • Prizes:

o 1st place: Rp 10.000.000,- (ten million rupiahs)

o 2nd place: Rp 7.000.000,- (seven million rupiahs)

o 3rd place: Rp 5.000.000,- (five million rupiahs)

• Participants doing any forms of cheating will be disqualified.

• The judgement of the jury and the committee is absolute.

TERMS OF PAPER
• A template of full paper can be downloaded through https://cens-ui.com/cfi

• Full papers must be submitted through https://cens-ui.com/cfi

• Full papers must be submitted in .pdf file.

• Full papers should be written in correct english and should not use any abbreviation.

• You may submit the paper in advance of the October 8, 2018.

• Participants fill the curriculum vitae section section in the end of the full paper.

• Participants make validity sheet, scanned and attached in the end of the full paper.

• Participants make originality statement form, scanned and attached in the end of the full
paper.
